During our visit to De Palm Island 🏝️ while in Aruba we enjoyed our day in one of the Beach Cabanas. It was the perfect day with plenty of space, beach beds, a sofa area, table, a fridge with a bottle of Prosecco, a bar, and concierge service. The best part was that we were able to mingle with the flamingos 🦩 and this was available only to this area. This motley crew from @talbertmanufacturing spent the morning exploring the northern coast of Aruba on UTVs! If you get the chance to visit, I highly recommend this tour with @depalmtoursaruba. We made a stop at #arikokpark, saw the natural bridges and black stone beaches, climbed through the #bushiribana gold mill ruins (did not find any gold ☹️), stopped at the Chapel of Our Lady of Alto Vista and had a chilled coconut 🥥 water (the real thing, not from the store🥰), and did not climb the light house 😬 but enjoyed the beautiful views. What do we do in Aruba on a cruise? 🛳️🏝️😎 One of the things I love most about visiting a destination by cruise, is that I know we’ll likely be back 😍 This is our 4th time in Aruba & we decided to do something different 🤔 We’ve gone to Eagle Beach & Palm Beach in the past, & I’d gladly go again 🏖️ However, this time we took a @hollandamericaline excursion to the North side of the island. We visited several Aruba sights on our 4 X 4 off road adventure 🛻 It was definitely a bumpy ride 😂 The landscape is incredible & unique! We saw a natural bridges. The sea was rough but incredibly striking & beautiful 🌊 Other landmarks included the Alto Visto Chapel & the California Lighthouse 🤩 Finally, we stopped for a short swim at the gorgeous Arashi Beach 🏖️ We were there until sunset 🌅 There’s no shortage of things to do in Aruba!! This was a fun excursion if you want to do something safe, but a bit off the beaten path 😎 But, I wasn’t kidding about bumpy! I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has difficulty climbing up & down from a jeep/truck, or anyone with a bad back, aches & pains 😬 We did enjoy it & made some new Aruba memories 😍 Have you been to Aruba? Cet ancien phare, gardien de l'île offre une vue sur les belles plages et la côte. Ce phare a été nommé ainsi pour le paquebot Californie qui a fait naufrage à proximité en 1891.
