Helping out the lovely people at Anam Cara House in Waurn Ponds today! After being let down by the government, they are in desperate need of funding so they can open their overnight palliative care service. Currently offering day respite programs in this amazing facility, they have lovely rooms sitting and waiting to open to overnight, end of life services. Government has refused any funding so they are there collecting dust. You can go for a tour if you're interested. Worth a look also are their beautiful gardens with lots of cows to talk to next door.
