Some of them felt heavy on my eyes, some of them creased, some of them were a headache to remove. Last summer Linda Hallberg released her sparkl formula and I instantly fell in love. Somehow this product is really underrated and it’s a crime. These eyeshadows are very easy to use, they quickly apply, stay all day long without creasing and give an incredible wet-looking effect. They actually don’t contain any glitter but vegan pearls and there is absolutely no problem in removing them. The packaging is lightweight so it really easy to take them to short trips and add some beautiful sparkle to an everyday look. If you like blue shades, get tease, this shade is just out of this world! 💥In the battle of the Matte palettes 🥊 We have the new MAKEUP BY MARIO vs PATRICK TA vs VISEART Best formula: VISEART Best color story: (totally subjective) MAKEUP BY MARIO I might buy the MbM palette however, after using these three formulas back to back I’m pretty convinced that I don’t like the MbM formula because I feel like so much of it blends away completely that what’s left behind has a tendency to look patchy. The Patrick Ta formula is similar, but slightly better. The reason I won’t be purchasing that palette is because I don’t trust The longevity of these palettes, and the color story doesn’t stand out enough. All of my needs are truly met with my Viseart palette. However, because the makeup by Mario has a gray tone that is slightly more blue it’s pushing me to consider getting it just for the unique tones overall. A quick review of the the @makeupbymario ethereal eyes eyeshadow palette. To be honest, all the looks have been gorgeous - but currently I feel that some of the looks I have created are quite similar to each other. The blending of the shadows is beautiful, and the looks are very easily to create. Okay I have thoughts on this new @hudabeauty Creamy Obsessions in Greige. Good and bad ones. Let start with the good ones: I am a very big fan of the cream shades that were already included in the Matte Obsessions Cool last year and most of the shades in this new Creamy Obsessions are in that texture. They are creamy but kinda stiff but not in a dry way. They just apply and blend like a freaking dream and I am here for it. The shade in the center is one of the prettiest ones I have ever seen from Huda. The use in general is very simple and fail proof I would even say. And you know what? I am a fan of the semi-translucent Set-Shade. I used it after I was done with my mattes and set the everything. I kinda toned it down a tiny bit but not too noticeable and actually set the creams beautiful. I love it. Now the not so good thoughts: The two metallics are very disappoints to me. The marble shades first off is way to warm from a greige color story just like the matte in the top left corner - way to warm in. Undertone. The other metallic is cool toned and dark but non of them are really metallic. They are more satin than they appear in the pan sadly. Also the texture of some shades is so soft, almost pomade-like that they move super easy in the pan. I mean I hit pan in the shades after I did my ey look and swatched the shades for my upcoming reel. I can literally see the build up walls of products around the pan so don’t be fooled but I don’t like that so much. I wish they were a bit stiffer in some pans. So overall - is this is must and innovative palette? Is this the cream palette of your dream? Probably not. I do like it though don’t get me wrong. I enjoy this concept a lot and see myself reaching for it. I wish there weren’t these two way too warm shades and I wish there was more impact in the metallics. For the price of roundabout 30-35€ deepening on where you get this you get a really connected palette and I see a lot of potential in this design so I hope Huda will investigate this further and doesn’t let this be a one hit thing. Three new to me palettes in the past few months. All are neutral, yet all allow to create a beautiful look that differentiates from one another. @viseart mini neutral palette. And I am going to be honest - I am extremely happy to have finally picked this up. The colors are gorgeous and have a good base to create a beautiful neutral look. My most used palette out of the three for sure! Just fantastic - and I am so glad it came out in mini - which makes price approachable and also really easy to travel with. @anastasiabeverlyhills mini Sultry palette 🎨 it is a look back into the 2016, but done well. All the looks I’ve done with it turned out nice, the shadows are really soft & I am happy I picked it up in mini form. The only disappointment was the black color - as it is not as pigmented to draw an eyeliner. & my latest purchase @makeupbymario Etheral Eyes palette. It has finally launched in Europe & so far it has been very nice to work with - and the shadows stay on beautifully! This eyeshadow stick was given to me by a friend. In fact she gave me several. The color was okay. But I didn't like it. It was greasy feeling on the eye and would actually repel any eye liner I would try to put on. It also wasn't long lasting. For a high-end shadow I expected so much more. So I'm tossing it. I wore @toofaced Italian spritz for one week to challenge myself to use up my stuff. I enjoyed the versatility of this palette like how I could create bold colorful looks or tone it down for a more natural look. The formula is great! And I recommend using an eyeshadow primer or glitter glue when working with the shade Lake Como and Spritz and Glitz. The eyeshadow stayed in place for over 4 hours, and without much priming aside from the typical concealer and a small amount of setting powder. What’s a product you’re working on using up ?

Takeaways: NOT AT ALL dry and chalky like I expected. Didn’t even dry to that texture. I cannot feel it on at all, and honestly I am surprised. I can’t lie, I was pessimistic and biased going in. I guess that’s why they say “don’t knock it until you try it.” Definitely paid off for this one! ❄️COSMIC BRUSHES - WINTER WONDERLAND❄️ 🇵🇱 Choć Winter Wonderland nie jest pierwszą paletą z marki @cosmic_brushes, którą kupiłam, a właściwie to jest ostatnią - najnowszą, to na profilu pojawia się jako pierwsza. Gdy tylko ją zobaczyłam, wiedziałam że musi być moja - te chłodne fiolety, niebieskości i turkusy to spełnienie mojego marzenia o mroźnej palecie. Opakowanie zaopatrzone jest w spore lusterko, a grafika fajnie odzwierciedla zawartość. Cieni jest w palecie 20 z czego 8 to błyski, a 12 maty o przyjemnej, aksamitnej formule i bardzo dobrej pigmentacji (choć swatchują się średnio). Wśród błysków, które są w większości drobinkowe, znajdziemy 2 duochromy - turkusowo-fuksjowy Atmosphere oraz błękitno-łososiowy Winter Solstice. Z paletą pracowało mi się bardzo przyjemnie, jestem zauroczona zarówno kolorystyką jak i formułami Cosmic Brushes - mam ich wszystkie pozostałe palety cieni, więc możecie się spodziewać, że pojawią się wkrótce na profilu. I could not scroll past 5 posts on my for you page without seeing the fenty diamond bomb “how many carats?!”. So naturally I had to put it on my christmas wishlist 🤣 I’ve had it for around a month now and had a fair chance to play around with it. I added a few other sparkly toppers in my collection but I will do a comparison post about those later. The texture of the product is like velvet. It almost feels like you’re not picking up any product. It’s so silky and it feels like a balm without the stickiness or wetness. I use this as a eyeshadow topper but I have tried it as a highlighter. I personally like my other toppers as highlighter better than this one, because the sparkles in this are a little more dispersed. It doesn’t give the same oomph that some douyin videos have made it seem like. This product doesn’t really have a base colour, but the sparkles lean towards a silver that will influence the way your shadows look underneath. For warmer eyeshadow looks like pinks, I would usually use a different topper. I don’t use a glitter primer with this. If you use a glitter primer, the glitter will be more packed and have more of a white/sliver base if that’s what you are looking for. If you don’t use a primer with this, it does wear off throughout the day. It will still be on the eye but less glittery. I think it has to do with the formula, because there’s no real base for it to grip onto. I find if I use a dense brush to put it on as an inner corner highlight, it becomes way more glittery but it still wears off after a few hours. Overall, I find myself reaching for this quite a bit. I really like that it doesn’t have a strong base colour to it. The glitter is very fine and can be built up or look very dispersed. It’s a very versatile product. For the price, there is a lot of product. If you’re using this for ONLY an eyeshadow topper, there are more affordable (and less product) options. ✨Pat McGrath Labs✨ Bijoux Brilliance Eye Shadow Palette: Sunset Romance A special thank you @influenster and @patmcgrathreal for gifting me this eye shadow palette to review and try. The Palette: 🎀Glowing Desire is a golden champagne shimmer 🎀Suede Sienna is a terracotta rose matte 🎀Mink Mirage is a soft bronze sable metallic 🎀Sun-Kissed Rose is a warm mauve matte 🎀Petallic Passion is a vermillion copper metallic The eye look that is featured in this post uses Suede Sienna in my crease line, blended out and a touch of Petallic Passion on the rest of my lid for a pink smokey look. My review: I really love the amount of pigment that I got from this palette. This was my first time trying Pat McGrath Labs and I have always heard great things. I can definitely see why. A little goes a long way. I can’t speak for other palettes but my Petallic Passion seemed to be pressed in a little too hard and it took a couple times to get product from it. Used my new Patrick Ta Major Dimensions III palette today! Here is my honest review of it: So I’m not one for all matte looks. I was reluctant to invest almost $100 in an all-matte palette. Luckily my husband bought it for me for Christmas 😂 I say luckily because I am in love with this!!! I also own the Major Dimensions II palette and it was underwhelming for me, but the III is perfection. Generally I invest in duochromes, sparkle, metallic etc. I never thought the day would come that I would suggest someone put $100 into an all matte palette, but here we are! This is worth every penny. The cream liners in this are a HUGE improvement from the formula in the II. The II I found to be on the greasy side. These liners are blendable and heavenly. The mattes are like velvet. They are soft as hell but still stick to the lid and stay put. It’s a magical formula. The colors in the pan translate EXACTLY the same and are consistent with each other. There is a decent amount of kick back in the pan, but I honestly don’t mind that. This is going to be a new staple for me, I can tell. Keep tabs on this page and I will update in a few months of course :) I used this palette to create this all-matte halo eye look with a slight wing and I am in love! Have you tried this palette yet? What’s Up Beauty • Dragon Eye • looks and review ~ swipe to see more ~ Hi friends! I hope you’re doing well!! This is my last review for 2023. I wanted to post this review earlier, but due to the busy days I simply didn’t think about it anymore. Before I go any further, I feel obligated to mention that the photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the shades look in real life. As you know, I prefer to take photos in natural daylight, but in this case that means the shifts of the chromes are not clearly visible. @whatsupbeauty Dragon Eye palette contains 12 shades (mattes, duo- and multichromes). The left part of the palette contains the warmer shades, the right part the cooler shades. Something for everyone! The mattes are soft and creamy, well pigmented and very easy to apply. The color is easy to build up, little to no fallout. The duo- and multichromes formula is also very soft and easy to apply. I personally feel that the formula of these shades is different from the metallics in the previous two palettes from the brand. Even softer and smoother. You can apply them very strongly for a present eye look, but you can also apply these shades very lightly for a more subtle look. Great to work with! The color story is balanced and varied. Personally, I lean more towards the cooler shades in this palette. Could be related to the time of year. The pink-peachy shade Breath appeals to me the least, somehow I don’t think this shade matches well with the chromes in this palette (on my skin color/undertone). Because this palette also contains some chromes with greenish shifts, I would have liked a green matte shade in this palette. I have used this palette extensively recently and I’m sure I will continue to use it a lot, I’m impressed with the formula, quality and versatility of Dragon Eye. Hi! Today's post is the ending of another #3looks1palette , and this time I'm actually glad to be done with it 😅 The palette I used is the @odenseyecosmetics Snow Dream, and despite its name, this was a bit of a nightmare to work with. None of the looks turned out how I wanted them to, and it took quite a bit of improvising and fixing things up in order to make them halfway decent. The quality of the shadows individually is nice, but the palette as a whole doesn't work for me. It lacks some deeper matte shades, and I don't think that the the ones that the palette has don't offer enough variety. The only way for me to use this and have a good experience with it, is to use it as a companion palette. As for the shimmers, they ended up looking quite pretty and sparkly on the lids, but most of them are very flaky and messy, which tbh makes them too much of a hassle. I have plenty of shimmers that look just as pretty or even prettier, that didn't require this much effort. Overall, using this palette quite a frustrating experience, and for that reason I wouldn't recommend it. This year I got the @lacolorscosmetics 12 Days of Beauty set. I'm actually pretty impressed with this countdown. My biggest issue with it is that the products do not have color names. I absolutely adore the little quad that comes in here, I just wish it was day 12 instead of 3. Products in order and mini reviews/thoughts on them Day 1: pink nail polish -swatches nicely -cute color but kind of boring and not really seasonal Day 2: lipstick -more sheer than expected but a pretty color -comfortable on the lips Day 3: eyeshadow quad -both swatches and performs super well -not patchy -didn't crease on me -the shimmer is beautiful -shades blend together well -lightest matte is my perfect blending out shade Day 4: face gems -the shaped ones confuse me -relatively sparkly -you really don't get that many Day 5: nail stickers -cute usable shapes (except the stripes, I'm confused about those) -holo! -you only get 6 of each shape which is a strange number Day 6: blush -a cute color, I cannot speak to its performance as I don't wear blush and will be giving it away -packaging will not stay shut Day 7: lipgloss - sparkly peach -cute color -I'm unsure if it's a full size or not tbh -doefoot is nice Day 8: nail file -the pink glitter is cute but makes it so only one side is usable as a file -I prefer glass files but it works -actually a good size to use Day 9: purple nail polish -the gold shimmer is beautiful both in the bottle and in swatches -way more exciting imo than the pink one Day 10: eyeliner pencil -not super opaque -is a full size Day 11: lipbalm -vanilla scented, doesn't smell super artificial -full size Day 12: Lip gloss - mauvey pinky creme -cute -same formula as the other #makeup #beauty #beautycommunity #lacolorscosmetics #eyeshadowreview #makeupjunkie #makeuplover #makeupcommunity #makeupreview #adventcalendar
𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 - 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒘 𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆 ♡ it only makes sense for my first proper post to be my all time favourite, not just eyeshadow, but makeup product in my collection. the @vievemuse essential eyeshadow palette contains 10 shades, consisting of 7 rich mattes and 3 buttery shimmers. the mattes are extremely easy to work with, and are highly pigmented but also blendable. by using a large fluffy blush you can get a nice sweep of colour just over the lids or in the crease. with a more compact brush it’s just as easy to create a more intense and pigmented look. in my opinion, the shimmers are just as easy to be used although they can be a little daunting a first with the small amounts of fallout they can create. these shimmers are also not a normal shimmer formula, they seem to have glitter mixed in to it as well which can produce endless results. to create more of a subtle shimmer look, i like to gently use my finger to apply to my lid, and if i want full glitter, i find using a glitter adhesive (i like @nyxcosmetics_uk glitter primer) before apply the eyeshadow really helps to build up a fully opaque glitter filled look. even though these eyeshadows are massive, i’ve managed to hit pan on so shy and buff, the perfect shadows for setting my lids and running some colour through my crease. as shown on the second slide, my three favourite shades are glimmer, ciao and buff, but they’re all equally so gorgeous. i own the muse palette as well, but my eyes are on the ninetease palette next so that i can complete the collection ♡ 🏷️ #makeup #skincare #reviews #projectpan #haul #cosmetics #beautybloggers #beautylover #makeuplover #makeupblogger #makeupreview #skincarereview #makeuphaul #skincarehaul #eyeshadow #eyeshadows #eyeshadowpalette #review #makeupreview #eyeshadowreview #vieve #vievemuse

🎨 Palette Review 🎨 Let’s start with the positives of this palette: 🎨 pretty color story 🎨 for me, great balance of shimmers and mattes 🎨 blendable formula 🎨 curated & slender palette 🎨pigmented My critiques 🎨 I labeled the different consistencies this palette has. ➡️ and 50% of this palette, formula wise, is very bad. ➡️ yes, they do the job. Yes, they blend, and I can make pretty looks from them. But the formula feels inadequate? Not up to par? (I can’t think of the right word to fit my thoughts on this). ➡️ I’ve had other ABH palettes in the past, that there formulas were creamy, soft, “wet”, luxurious feeling. And this feels cheap, “expired” (bcuz of the hard pan and hard press dry shadows). ➡️the dryness of the formula I can definitely feel on my eyes, like I’m scratching my eyes with the shadow. 🎨ember & mulberry have sparkles imbedded and it adds to the rough texture I feel on my eyes. The sparkles goes away blended out, so idk why sparkle is event incorporated in the first place. 🎨 I use my finger to apply the shimmers & the fact that they are hard pressed and already leaving hard pan is kinda ridiculous. I have to dip and press my finger in multiple times to get more pigment picked up. 🎨If this is how her new palettes are going to be… I’m gonna have to say I’m not a big fan. Lovely color story and shimmer shade colors, but the formula really brings down the quality and experience 🎨 I’d give my experience a… 4/10 :/

I’ve finally used all the shades from the @hudabeautyshop Pretty Grunge Palette 🖤some multiple times, others only once or twice. I created 5 looks that I feel are relatively ‘everyday’ (for me) not necessarily to go out to work in but just looks I would feel comfortable shopping, going out to dinner etc… I would love to have done an out of my comfort zone look like a dark halo smokey eye but unfortunately I just haven’t had the time or the place to create such a look! 🖤SHADES & FORMULA Overall this palette performs exactly how I would expect it too having tried Huda’s larger palettes before. The mattes are always a winner for me and I don’t say this very often but her palettes are the only palettes I don’t mind having more mattes than shimmers…. She always has a tendency to sneak as many pink shades in a possible even if they don’t look pink in the pan… however I do like the variety of mattes that the Pretty Grunge has to offer, yes they are pinkish but also grey,purple and berry toned with some more neutral ‘warmer’ mattes also. There are a mix of shimmer formulas in this palette some satiny, some more sparkly and one that’s a squishy type of formula, Rebelle. This shade bulges out of the pan and inflates 😂 it’s crumbly but when applied with fingers performs beautifully. The others are all good quality and look stunning on the lids ✨ 🖤OVERALL Look 1 and 5 appear very similar but I do like a certain type of look so it can be hard to stray away from what I know and feel comfortable with. I guess if your not daring the looks can be slightly repetitive but if you love a certain look or certain shades you’re going to use them the most and still totally love this palette! I have no regrets and whilst it isn’t as everyday friendly as the Natasha Denona INAN you certainly can make it more wearable & amp it up when you feel like it! If the colour story is up your street I recommend this palette 🖤🖤 *Palette purchased by me 👍
