Had a little more fun with color this week with a yellow look and a green look where I just didn't focus on my project shades at all. I will continue to bring in 1 or 2 palettes a week that are not in projects just to get some use and have some fun. I will be going into the office every day this week so I may not be doing anything too colorful but we'll see. Project Pan April 2024 Es ist leider nur ein Produkt leer gegangen, obwohl ich mir drei erhofft habe. Naja, dafür dann nächsten Monat. Die Foundation wird hoffentlich nächsten Monat leer, da ich wirklich stark drücke, um etwas raus zu bekommen. Die Eyeshadow Base von @essence.cosmetics.germany ist aufgebraucht! Ich habe sie sehr gemocht und habe über ein Jahr gebraucht, um sie aufzubrauchen. Dafür neu ist von @catrice.cosmetics.germany die Ultimate Camouflage Cream in der Farbe 100 Brightening Peach. Ich liebe diesen Colour Correcter und möchte ihn deshalb aufbrauchen, damit er nicht schlecht wird. Ich benutze ihn nur schon täglich und das seit über einem Jahr. Der Cream Bronzer sowie der Cream Blush gehen stetig leer. Der Bronzer hat diesen Monat viel abgenommen, erstaunlich! Blush, Highlighter und Lippenstift sind auch in kleinen Schritten weniger geworden. Der Lipgloss hat noch etwas drin, nur die Verpackung ist jetzt endgültig kaputt, der Drehverschluss ist abgebrochen und daher ist ers schwer, den zuzumachen. Wenn er nächsten Monat nicht leer ist, wird er trotzdem als aufgebraucht angesehen, es sind ja wirklich nur die letzten Reste. 🗑️April Empties🗑️ Man - I have been on a roll lately with empties this year! I have 8 empties to share this month, with 3 lip empties - 2 mini @lawless forget the filler lip glosses in rosy outlook and nudie, which unfortunately irritated the sides of my mouth a bit after using them several days in a row, but if I alternated days, then they were beautiful (4/5⭐️) and then the @milanicosmetics fruit fetish lip oil in strawberry fetish honestly reminded me of some type of candy from my childhood - I just wanted to eat it lol 😅- but I loved the nourishing, glossy, non-sticky finish (5/5⭐️) I also finished 2 blush samples this month - the @lauramercier tinted moisturizer blush in provence was so sheer that I literally don’t think it could be called a blush. I have fair skin, and it barely showed up on me, and where it did, it was patchy. (0/5⭐️) And then unfortunately, the @freck cheek slime was the opposite problem - it had SO MUCH PIGMENT and not enough base to blend into my cheeks that it felt like I was spreading literal slime. It ended up being okay mixed with a liquid highlighter, so I was able to make it work, but it was way too thick for me (1/5⭐️) I know the @elfcosmetics putty primers went viral when they first launched several years ago, but I’m beginning to lose my interest in silicone/blurring primers - I feel like they make my face a slip-n-slide rather than prolonging my makeup throughout the day. I think in terms of blurring, I would much rather have a setting powder than a primer (2/5⭐️) Speaking of viral - I finally tried the @lorealparis telescopic mascara, and y’all - it is THAT GOOD 👏 My lashes were so fluffy and full, not clumpy or smudgy at all! I will say I do get a bit of flaking if I got any product in my waterline, but other than that it was beautiful (5/5⭐️) And lastly, I finished the @maybelline 24H superstay skin tint and besides the fact that it is more of a full coverage foundation than a skin tint, it is STUNNING. I've been hiding an empty again... ✨️ And it's been a long time coming too 😂 I used up the contour shade in this face contouring set from Trend It Up! I bought it in 2016 or 2017, I believe, solely for the contour shade as there haven't been a ton of cool toned options in the drugstore for pale skin. It was during the time when crazy facesculpting was trendy thinking it would magically change the structure of my very round face. Lil old me did not understand that it's very hard to chisel a face that is shaped like the moon lol. I mostly used this on my doublechin after I fell in love with bronzer and the way warm tones looked on my face. I hit pan that way and even repressed it only to neglect it for quite some time 🫣 until it was time for my Choso cosplay where I needed all the cool tones I could possibly get and used this product more frequently again. Das Hydra pro matte fluid von kiko milano ist grandios für meine Mischhaut. Das Produkt ist super ergiebig, dezent beduftet und so gut, dass ich es mir direkt im Urlaub nachgekauft hab. 178. Der Durstlöscher von Pantene pro V ist nicht zum ersten Mal leer gegangen und liegt als Backup auch schon wieder zu Hause. Das spricht für sich oder?🤪 179. - 180. Das Isana Seidenglanz Shampoo zusammen mit der Spülung haben meine Haare gut gereinigt. Für mich war es eine Einmalanwendung, womit ich keine Aussage über eine Langzeitwirkung geben kann. 181. Das beautyfix make up setting spray von modelCo war an sich ein gutes Produkt. Man brauchte nicht viel, ich gehöre aber auch nicht zu den "viele Schichten Schminkern", weshalb mein make up nach 12 Stunden nicht mehr perfekt sitzen muss. Der Sprühstoß hätte trotzdem etwas feiner sein können. 182. Die polypeptide cream von #drunkelephant war leider zu reichhaltig für mein Gesicht. Dafür war sie aber perfekt für eine trockene Stelle an meinem Bein. 183. -186. Die Balea Duschgele waren alle süß. Und gut duftend. Und gut reinigend. Einzig die Konsistenz war seltsam. The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream($11) 👎🏾 - the results from the eye cream with consistent use were minimal. It was not worth the extra step in my routine, not even basic hydration this provided. This was a huge disappointment considering I’ve loved the other products I tried from the Inkey List.

A #project10uses update - I finally hit my goal on the Oden's Eye Lip Stain 😭 my roll-in, the Oden's Eye Solmane Eyeliner in 006 Green Tea, is on the next slide 🖤 I literally NEVER used this lip stain before rolling it into the project, since such a dark red in a glossy formula kinda intimidated me. Now that I've gotten 10 days of use out of it, I feel like I can form an opinion on it, and the deal is that this lip formula is not that scary. Despite being a gloss in a bold color, it has pretty good wear time, and I only needed to reapply it once or twice a day. It was sticky enough to not just come off of the lips and bleed onto the face, but not so sticky it was aggravating to wear. Weirdly enough, though, the Alva Cream Lipsticks stain the lips much more than these lip stains. When this came off, it came off evenly without leaving any pigment behind. I'd say this was more of a gloss than a stain of any kind. I'm not sure the product weight of these, but if only .3 g are used in 10 days of normal wear, that doesn't bode well for panning it 😅 My roll-in is an eyeliner that I've already used over 20 times. This is one of the creamier ones in this line, and I haven't experienced breakage with it. Skincare empties ⭐️ @cledepeaubeaute softening cleanser - this tiny cleanser lasted me over a YEAR! super concentrated, it is near on identical to a shiseido cleanser I used to love @samfarmer_co face wash - great option for kids, and adults alike @suqqu_europe moisture fix mist - I didn’t get the juice I needed from this , it was nice over makeup and as part of my routine, it smells like a handsome man, but it wasn’t a favourite @katesomervilleskincare peptide k8 - this is a favourite, but I’m not keen on the size for the price, I haven’t found anything like it but I won’t repurchase 🙈 @ireneforteskincare forte - pistachio face mask - perfection, I use it as a night cream mainly, plumps and conditions the skin like no other Irene forte vanilla hand cream - managed to control the patches of psoriasis I have on the back of my hand, lovely stuff @theinkeylist tripeptide plumping lip balm - brother uggghhh, this managed to dry out my lips , and it stinks too 🤮 @drdennisgross.uk universal peel pads - the best @dhcskincare Moisture strips - not mind blowing but provides a nice but is a nice treat before makeup application @111skin eye mask - these faired a lil better than the previously mentioned but not enough for me to consider a regular purchase, nothing beats the shiseido eye masks for me #empties #skincare #minireview #projectpan

I ordered some @inglot_cosmetics Duraline to use with this black shadow to make it easier and more long lasting when using it as a liner. I haven’t tried it with a wing yet, because there is a bit of a learning curve and it is a bit more time consuming to scrap off some shadow and mix with the Duraline each time. I have been using these products, I feel the BB cream is slightly darker for my skin tone or maybe it oxidises but I do like it still as it feels good on the skin. I’m trying to catch up on some #palettebreakdown posts, so you get another one this week! This is the Jungle Princess (they couldn’t come up with a better name??) palette from @makeuprevolution and their Lion King collab. I thought the color story was super fun, but the purples in here were not great. The matte is powdery and not very pigmented, whereas the shimmer doesn’t pack as much of a punch as the others. As per usual, I am here with my latest bunch of used up beauty products - and my brief thoughs on each of them. . . 😀 Shea body butter from @thebodyshop 😀 - Iike it a lot, especially in the colder/drier months. Really moisturizing, quickly absorbing and a yummy scent. I am hoping that The Body Shop manages to stick around somehow, so I can keep on purchasing this product. . . 😐 Here Comes the Sun, D3 supplement from @humnutrition 😐 - I don't have much of an opinion on this product. I have used it for a month, and I tolerated it well. No noticable effects from it, but it may have helped boost my vitamin D levels. . . 🙂 Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer from @glamglow 🙂 - (yes, this is the second small pot of this stuff I have emptied recently.) Like it well enough - it did a good job of moisturizing. The fragrance it has is not my favourite, but it does dissipate fairly quickly. . . 😐 InstaMud 60 Second Pore Refining Treatment from @glamglow 😐 - Not a big fan. It is a cream mask that bubbles up when applied to skin. It's the bubble action I don't like. The mask did make my pores look a bit better. And, I also really love the color of the mask: vibrant purple. Zelda project pan update! I'm so behind on my updates I have 4 swaps 😅 and they're all a month old. But if you saw my life update a couple posts ago, I have been sick and not wearing makeup all month or posting anything so I'm just getting back into it now. I'm still working on a mascara and setting spray from before. All the eyeshadows were great, I'm trying to have some bright eyeshadows rolling through this project since my main project this year is battleship pans with a neutral palette. Here's the description of all of the prompts corresponding with my next picks (one of which I already finished and rolled out!): Hylian Shield - Pick an item that is dependable: Loading... coral eyeshadow is what I picked! It's basically my favorite eyeshadow shade, and I'm happy to use it in basically any look. Ancient bow - Pick one of your oldest items : This liquid balm is really old and it's basically a 'tinted lip oil' but I got it in 2018. I feel like it should probably be expired but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Here's hoping I don't start having issues during this project. Master sword - Pick your favorite item: I picked this lipstick that I'm pretty sure I've raved about enough, I've actually finished a whole one of these and repurchased it! It's a lovely brown-y peach shade, and on the desaturated side. Warm desaturated oranges and orange reds are probably the best lipstick shades for me in general. I already hit my goal on this one! Lizal boomerang - Pick an item you've repurchased at least once: I picked this peach corrector that I finished and repurchased once, though I've since realized yellow green is better for color correcting my undereye, and I just mix this shade with my own green concoction to bring it closer to a skintone shade. It's a great formula but unfortunately finding a light desaturated yellow green-leaning undereye concealer/corrector doesn't exist on the market in any formula so it's just me mixing up my own thing for now, ever since I figured it out. This one will be easy to hit goal on once I start wearing makeup again because I do undereye color correcting with basically every 'full eyeshadow' look.
