@end_hate_in_hawaii Uncle Abel Simeona Lui had lived at Kāwā bay, on the Ka’ū Coast, for decades in a simple, self-built home. Even though the area is mostly lava & the climate is near-desert, he grew food for himself & for others through ancestral methods of directing the myriad grooves on the lava that formed miniature water channels to pockets of soil in low spots in the lava. He’s planted bananas & avocados, papayas, awa, pumpkins, gourds, taro, and more. "All my stuff, I give away," he says. "I love what I’m doing. I live on the land. I greet the people. I tell them about this place. I’m proof that you can live out here and survive." . For decades, he took care of Kāwā removing trash & putting up/maintaining outhouses for visitors to the popular surfing spot. He says it’s his kuleana (responsibility) to steward this land, which was given to his ancestors in a royal grant & whoʻs iwi lays in the land. Over those decades Abel fought several private developers in courts as they passed through their hands, and thus was repeatedly harassed, arrested, removed & would fight frivolous ʻcriminalʻ court cases over this time as well, ultimately being acquitted every single time. Abel's great-great-grandfather, Timoteo Keawe, got the land in a royal grant, and under kingdom law it could be leased but never sold. Ultimately he was permanently removed from Kāwā by court decision in 2012. . Since this time he has continued to speak up for Hawaiʻi by documenting/testifying against Hawaiʻi County about native animals being killed by their use of pesticide spraying on roadsides and parks, and was one of 33 Native Hawaiian kūpuna arrested protecting Maunakea from further desecration by UH & the astronomy industry at her summit. . Did another Mod For Elsa another Out with the old in with the new Mod @jetchip Mas Airflow Sensor! Because of my increased intake Pipe diameter & Higher Flowing Air filter I upgraded the Maf so she'll read The AFR better contributing to the ECU to send the right amount of fuel & spark for optimal combustion!! Last night as I rested my mother said from around 3-430am a beautiful (Spirit)Goddess appeared before her but she was all white long white hair she smiled and when she left the lights turned on..
