“No entiendo” a Nintendo (opinión) No se puede negar que cuando de los videojuegos👾🕹️🎮 de las consolas que tenemos en estos momentos entre nosotros se trata, la gran ganadora en esta generación (y por mucho) es Nintendo. Switch se ha convertido en la gran favorita de muchos, y motivos no le faltan: un concepto novedoso de consola híbrida, un potencial tecnológico que, si bien es cierto que a estas alturas no da para más, se ha sabido aprovechar de la mejor manera posible, y el amplísimo catálogo con el que cuenta la han convertido en la gran ganadora de esta generación. Pero, así como se pueden nombrar los triunfos de la empresa japonesa en esta generación de consolas (esperando a que terminen de presentar la “Nintendo Switch 2”, si ese es el nombre), así también hay que destacar que, como todo lo que involucra a los seres humanos, no está exenta de errores, y en días recientes, querida Nintendo, preocupa mucho en la comunidad los movimientos en los que has estado involucrada. Que nadie se equivoque, seguimos gustando de ti, aplaudimos todo eso de bueno que lanzas, pero esos movimientos de tu parte podrían echar por la borda todo el trabajo que te ha costado volver al lugar donde te encuentras actualmente. Few things: 1. This is pretty much my reaction to Nintendo having Garry’s Mod remove any Nintendo related content. It makes me wonder what’s going to happen to SMG4. 2. Even though Neptunia characters say Noire doesn’t have any friends, I feel like Blanc is the one who actually doesn’t have friends her company and their lawyers are a bunch of greedy little snots who don’t like to share their toys. 3. Because that Aaron Peters guy is responsible for all of this, and claiming that he’s from Nintendo, even though he isn’t, he’s another reason why certain people in the world shouldn’t create new generations. 4. Game Garry’s Mod yang dirilis sejak tahun 2006 lalu sudah menjadi salah-satu game sandbox yang paling random dengan kehadiran mod-mod yang lebih super random karena telah dibikin oleh komunitasnya, seperti konten mod untuk item, senjata, skin karakter hingga map yang terinspirasi dari game lain. Tentunya mod-mod tersebut juga ada yang terinspirasi dari Konten Nintendo juga, seperti Skin Mario dan lainnya. Sayangnya akhir-akhir ini gamer-pun akhirnya menyadari akan banyaknya konten mod yang berhubungan dengan Nintendo telah dihapus begitu saja dari Steam Workshop, dan akhirnya pihak Developer Garry's Mod yaitu Facepunch Studios mulai buka suara terkait perihal ini. - Facepunch Studios telah mengkonfirmasi dan meminta maaf atas hilangnya konten mod "Nintendo" tersebut, yang ternyata bukan karna bug atau glitch begitu saja, melainkan memang sengaja dihapus oleh pihak Facepunch Studios karena teguran dan permintaan langsung dari Nintendo-nya itu sendiri, tentu ini bersangkutan langsung dengan konten-konten dan aset hak cipta milik Nintendo itu sendiri, yang membuat konten mod Nintendo terpaksa harus terhapus di Steam Workshop game Garry's Mod. Bahkan, pihak Facepunch Studios juga mengaku kalau mereka sangat kewalahan untuk menghapus mod-mod Nintendo tersebut yang isinya mungkin sudah beratus-ratus ribu, terutama untuk kata kunci Mario yang ternyata sudah punya 5500 mod yang sudah beredar, yang pastinya hal tersebut akan membuang waktu yang sangat lama. Esta es una compañía amada por muchos y odiada por unos pocos, pero últimamente está haciendo que le tengamos más tirria con sus decisiones. Nintendo se encarga de eliminar contenido si no cumple con sus condiciones y de hecho se encargaron de acabar con el emulador de Switch Yuzu. Ahora Nintendo ha vuelto a hacer de las suyas, pero en algo donde no esperábamos que interviniera, pues se ha encargado de eliminar casi todo el contenido de Garry's Mod de la Steam Workshop. Si compramos una consola de Nintendo y jugamos a los videojuegos de sus franquicias principales, notaremos una diferencia inmediata frente a otros de las demás consolas. Sus mundos coloridos que entran por los ojos, con historias sencillas y gameplay que funciona sin demasiadas complicaciones, es lo que podemos resumir como parte de lo que ofrecen juegos de Mario, Zelda y otras sagas. (Massive rant) So it has come to my attention that the Steam Workshop is beginning to remove Splatoon addons for Garry’s Mod, which started just barely two weeks ago after multiple false flagging of addons beginning with a Super Mario Galaxy pack. While I wanted to remain mute for a while, this has really begun to irk me in some way or another because I literally just started GMod animations last month and the toll is going to be devastating for the entire community as well as the SMG4 community. I joined back in 2018 (same year this poster was done) after being dragged in by another individual, and enjoyed my fair share of GMod content until 2020 when electrophobia hit, and I have hardly recovered in two years. I have met a lot of people who were either amazing or just an asshole for the most part. But this is not me signaling that I would leave because I had more interest with this than the AGK and MS Sam communities, the latter of which also got hit with a fatal blow when Atom Smasher closed its doors back in October 2022, causing a TON of error series to be postponed indefinitely or even cancelled for goodness sake. I will still be making posters because I have archived just about every model removed and cannot bother to archive the others. Despite Aaron Peters being CLEARLY RESPONSIBLE the devs do not acknowledge this in any way whatsoever. Garry’s Mod devs revealed they’d been hit with numerous takedown notices from Nintendo directly and, as a result, have swiftly been acting to remove countless community creations based around the Japanese company’s IP. In a sandbox like Garry's Mod, almost anything is possible. With community-created assets, players can design their own gaming experiences, animate videos, and much more in between.
