I have a Slingerland field drum that looks amazing but is a complete bitch to tune and just kind of honks around This, on the other hand, has remained beautifully in tune across continents and sounds so fat and full, and remarkably crisp and modern. Meinl just dropped the new Nano stick and it ticks off a lot of boxes for us NY’ers. IDK but maybe should be THE stick for all @tinydesk concerts!? This tip-less stick lowers the volume on drums but is especially noticeable on cymbals. Another tool in the arsenal for low volume performance and practice.
