It is known for its medicinal properties and can be used topically or internally in teas or tinctures. These bright beauties are edible and make a lovely addition to any salad. ๐ฑ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฌ: pot marigold, common marigold (not to be confused with Tagetes which are also called marigold.) ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ: warming, drying ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฌ: Calendula has a host of medicinal uses particularly topical uses for wounds, rashes, bee stings, sunburns and eczema. Calendula is also an useful digestive ally. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ: Antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, lymphagogue and vulnerary ๐๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ: Salves, balms, tea, tincture, infused oil, lotion, poultice. We use Calendula in many of our preparations such as our salves, herbal teas, toners, and even our canine paw salve.
