This is why I love Miss Mustard Seed paint! A really old piece of furniture deserves the right paint and finish. It chipped, crackled and turned out just as I hoped. I cleaned and sanded the top before painting one coat of white chalk paint. Then I added a couple of coats of French Enamel. I chose the “Elizabeth” stencil which I felt complimented this Empire piece nicely. I bought the crystal knobs several months ago, and completely forgot they had a flower pattern. I had already painted the flower on the front when I realized it matched the crystal knobs perfectly! This piece was truly a labor of love!
