. Es geht Heimwärts! . 7 Monate reisen gehen nun zu Ende. 7 Monate wir 3 auf 5qm und zwar 24/7. Mit keinen anderen Menschen als euch hätte ich mir das vorstellen können. Wir haben so viele Abenteuer erlebt, so viel gelacht und auch gestritten, so viel gesehen und probiert, so viele Menschen kennengelernt, so viel gelernt - über die Orte die wir bereist haben und über uns. Wir sind noch ein Stück näher daran gekommen herauszufinden wer wir sind (hat man das jemals raus?) und wer wir sein wollen. Matti hat auf dieser Reise laufen und reden gelernt, er hatte den Luxus jeden Tag den ganzen Tag Mama und Papa für sich zu haben. Das alles hat ihn und uns geprägt und noch näher zusammengebracht. It is blazing hot working on the van today from 530 pm to 7 pm. Last weekend I got the extra insulation on the walls and got them webbed up. Trystam helped me for a short ceiling insulation stint this weekend (TY, TLC!). Tonight, I finished the rest of the ceiling insulation I am able to put up now (until the ceiling fans and additional side front/back studs go in). Got the ceiling webbed up tonight after work. I am sweating quite a bit. Yuck. Traps and deltoid workout. My dad makes me beautiful things. This picture of the first new cabinet does not do it justice. It has a built-in pull-out table and three drawers. It is completed and we will install into Hygge this week. Yea for storage! And a table! I chose hickory for Hygge with an amber stain. While this wood is hard to work with and a bit heavy, Diddhe is making it work. I couldn't be any happier with the results. I got the wires fed through the van walls today in prep for the electric board. So, I started on some wool insulation, but it got too hot. It is so humid out today, I had to keep taking breaks. 🤢 Will work some late tonight and early morning in hopes it is a little cooler tonight. Update❗️ Es wird in den Abendstunden wieder mal geschraubt. Der Ducato bekommt für die kleinen Beifahrer im Fond ein kleines Update. Die Schnierlesitze bekommen Parts von #hermannschnierlegmbh verpasst. Die Isofixhalter wurden über die freundlichen Mitarbeiter der Firma #hyggegmbh bezogen und verbaut. Ich tausche jetzt einmal das Gestühl auf der Konsole aus. Ein Glück haben wir ja noch 2 zusätzliche optionale Sitzplätze. Ein 7-Sitzer-Van kann schon etwas feines sein. . 🚐 Björni Vermissung & neues Projekt . . Hier war es die letzten Tage recht still, wir mussten erstmal wieder in der Heimat ankommen und uns überlegen wie wir die Zeit bis die Reise weitergehen kann gut füllen können. Und wie es das Schicksal oder der Zufall so will haben sich neue Türen geöffnet, von denen wir gar nicht wussten, dass es sie gibt. Sehr spontan haben wir neue Entscheidungen für unsere Zukunft getroffen und sehen diesem Schritt mit einem weinenden, aber auch einem lachenden Auge entgegen. Die nächsten Tage werden wir mit euch teilen, was wir planen. Wir freuen uns auch sehr so viel Zeit jetzt mit unseren Lieben zu verbringen, aber vermissen auch unseren 🚐Björni und unsere Abenteuer mit ihm, die wir dann hoffentlich im Juli weiterführen können! . . Schrotti 🚐 Björni unser Sorgenkind. Wir sind mal wieder liegengeblieben. Haben jetzt schon eine richtige Routine wenn das passiert 🙈 Also bei uns lohnt sich die ADAC+ Mitgliedschaft auf jeden Fall 😅 was es ist, wissen wir noch nicht, er geht auf jeden Fall nicht mehr an. Wir campen jetzt vor der Werkstatt und Montag schaut sich ein Mechaniker mal den Björni an. Ein Mietauto haben wir uns auch schon organisiert und wir sind sogar kurz vor dem schönen Cadiz gestrandet. Wir könnten uns jetzt ärgern, machen wir aber nicht - wir hatten mal wieder Glück im Unglück und freuen uns darauf die Stadt ein wenig näher anzuschauen. . . Vielleicht habt ihr ja auch Tipps für Cadiz?
