Alex Cordova was invited to train in Madrid, Spain through the Real Madrid City Experience. This was a unique opportunity for him to experience real life training in the Official Real Madrid Academy, in the very same fields and with the coaches as the youth players of the club. This amazing soccer experience allowed him to learn the four pillars of the game: technical, tactical, physical and psychological and practice it with many other players not only from the US but also in matches against other Spanish teams of his age. He created long lasting relationships with coaches and teammates. He also learned the VALUES that have made The Real Madrid one of the best soccer teams in the world. Herndon Youth Soccer proudly hosts the Dulles National Soccer Tournament for competitive travel teams U9-U15. The Dulles National Soccer Tournament attracts teams from all over Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. The 30th annual DNST will be held September 3-4, 2022, over Labor Day weekend on turf field complexes in Fairfax County located in and around Herndon, Virginia. Each age group will have multiple levels of competition. The DNST is a great pre-season tournament for teams to begin the new soccer year and will again be using the GotSoccer registration, scheduling and scoring system.
