It was instant love. It was 2010, my daughter had just turned one and Christmas was right around the corner. That year my husband got me a "really nice camera since our point and shoot was always having issues." It was my first DSLR (the big fancy camera where you can change the lens) and honestly it was INSTANT love. Instant connection. Instant excitement. I was obsessed with learning how to photograph in manual setting instead of auto, photographing everything around me, taking in person courses, watching YouTube and I even took a photoshop course at UNF. I wanted to learn everything, like yesterday. It snowballed and I started taking photos of friends and family and then my fun hobby became a full on business. It is not lost on me that I am so extremely blessed that I truly get to do what I love as my job. I was stay at home mom and I just knew I needed more and this was perfect. I could work around my kid's school schedule and still be extremely involved in their lives, which is very important to me.
