Our master seamer @bethvanderbeck has stuck with us for almost 4 years, is loyal, incredibly hard-working and talented. Not one time has she ever been late, or flaked on us… except the time she locked herself out of the house with her phone inside and I was convinced she was dead. Made a satin version of this last month and I loved the fit so decided to use some batik cotton for a summer version. I only had 1m of 45” wide fabric but managed to get it out fine, I bought an offer of 5 x 1m pieces for £22 so it cost me less than £5 to make. I might not make a post every day since I am still a bit on the edge with my spring exhaustion, but luckily every day is better than previous. But not to add any extra pressure to myself.
