Over night crews responded to I-80 westbound for a semi that was on fire. On arrival crews found that the trailer of the semi (carrying 40,000 pounds of celery) was fully involved. Approximately 10 years ago, Joliet Firefighters Local44 and Joliet Fire Officers Local 2369 held a fundraiser in honor of one of our own who had passed away, Lt. Terry Foster. The money raised by both locals and many of Terry’s friends was earmarked for college expenses. We were so proud to be given the opportunity to present that money to Tess Foster!
