I was listening to a talk given by @brody_neuenschwander last night in which he talks a bit about the tradeoff between design and legibility... Well Carol's jubilee script, here, certainly offers up a challenge... I am still such a newbie when it comes to design... so, practice, and more practice... I do love how this script really makes one focus both on the technicals... like on how to turn the nib angle, as well as the fun creative aspects of it. Also, it may be the queen's jubilee this year, but this script was designed by Carol as a celebration of her own 50 years as a calligrapher!! Day 57/100 Today was one of those days when you feel exhausted without doing anything! I spent over four hours at my daughter’s gymnastics competition, and I am just tired from sitting around. I came home thinking I had no energy to do anything. But this has relaxed me.
