Tag Heuer just released a limited reissue of the first "Tag Heuer" labeled watches from 1986. As you can see from my vintage Zodiac Swiss Formula, which I gifted to my mother years ago, I kind of like the design. But why would I buy a $1,500.00 quartz watch if I could probably buy an original for a tenth of the price. I am sure this limited edition will sell out soon, but it could hurt Tag Heuer in the long run. The problem is that the brand is acting schizophrenic for many years now. The fusion with Tag, and the introduction of cheaper quartz watches rescued Heuer from bankruptcy in the 80th. But quartz and also smart watches are consumer product with a lot of competition, while mechanical timepieces are seen as luxury items today. News: Kith cùng TAG Heuer ra mắt bộ sưu tập Kith Heuer Formula 1 với mười phối màu. TAG Heuer Formula 1 là chiếc đồng hồ mang tính biểu tượng từ năm 1986. Việc kết hợp cùng Kith đánh dấu sự trở lại đầu tiên với các thiết kế được nâng cấp đáng kể. Tuy được giữ nguyên hình dáng bán đầu nhưng các chi tiết kính đã được thay thế bằng sapphire. Phần dây nhựa truyền thống cũng được thay thế bằng cao su cao cấp trên mỗi phiên bản. Được biết số lượng của những chiếc đồng hồ này chỉ vỏn vẹn 1350 cái, các phiên bản dây thép không gỉ sẽ được sản xuất 350 cái mỗi loại và 250 là con số dành cho các phiên bản dây cao su.
