This was really cool to work on- one of the very few Fender amp models I have not seen in my career. This is a 1961-1963 Twin Amp featuring the super cool harmonic vibrato circuit. This was the precursor to the seminal Twin Reverb and although the vibrato circuit changes the overall tone of the amp drastically, there is a lot to like. Steggo's favorite delay pedal is his clone of the early Aqua Puss using the Tone Geek board. It is an AMAZING pedal, but it is one of the hardest builds Steggo does (largely because you have to pull out the oscilloscope to calibrate it). @aionfx has just released essentially the same circuit in a smaller form factor, and Steggo has ordered a few boards. I'm planning on releasing a few of these as the "Ankylosaurus Delay Mini" They're still several weeks out, and they won't be cheap, but they will be AMAZING!

Never underestimate the importance your choice of speakers play in your guitar tone 🔥 Of course, every link in the chain will affect your sound: from you and the way you play, to your guitar, your amp, your plectrum, any pedals you use, etc. So will the layout of your speaker cabinet: 1x12, 2x12, and 4x12 cabs (and so on) will all give you different tonal responses 🎸 But the speaker cone is the final part of the chain, and is responsible for converting your signal into the soundwaves we all hear… so it’s to be underestimated at your peril 😉 At Palmer, we know this, and we supply our current cabs with either Celestion Vintage 30, Greenback and Creamback speakers (or as empties, should you wish to put your own speakers of choice in!).
