Joburg @joburgmeats has brought the first kosher biltong to the market! (And they have a kosher for Pesach version too!) Biltong is the “beef jerky” of South Africa, but that’s not quite right... While jerky and biltong are both preserved meats with salt and spices, biltong is also cured in vinegar and then slowly air-dried without heat, making it super flavorful and extremely soft. It’s definitely a different experience than jerky and worth trying. Joburg makes Traditional, Black Pepper Crusted, and the truly unique South African Spicy Peri Peri flavor.
