‼️End to End, Meet Your Selector‼️ Avi Loud: Avi Loud is a multi-disciplinary artist (photographer, dj, producer) born and raised in Seattle. He fell in love with dance music at an early age when his first extra-curricular mentors, the Massive Monkees b-boy crew, immersed him into the world of hip-hop. With contributions to the Seattle nightlife such as Prototype Sessions in 2016, Joogie Nights in 2017, Heck World Radio in 2019, and joining the HousePartySea collective in 2020, Avi has been adamant about spotlighting underground music and connecting styles with a sonic throughline that keeps the relationship between sound and movement at the forefront. Since moving to LA during the pandemic, he has self-released an EP Flower Chased The Sunshine and a full-length album Realmfest. More recently, he released an EP ‘Chrysalis’ with Salon Recordings in November 2022, had a track featured on Juke Bounce Werk’s ‘JBDUBZ Vol. X’ compilation in December 2022, and was also included in Gyration Station’s ‘Reality Check 3’ compilation to kick off the 2023 year. In April 2023, he was invited to join the Body Heat crew alongside Demon Slayer and Liano. It was a pleasure to lay down the set I did to try to match the energy that Bambú brings. The opening act DJ Sundance started it off with some dubs to get the crowd in the mood. And @proper.pro came and threw down some DNB to keep the momentum and as his set went on, shifted the vibe back to dubs to bring everyone back to where it started. Be there this Saturday when our Resident @lacynew guides us on another epic journey! “Connecting to the people around me via sound waves and dance became an intoxicating experience. I wanted to present mixes that encompass the sounds and energies that make up my life and all of the people that play different roles, throughout the set. Music is one of the earliest and most tribal forms of communication, which is why I gravitate to the earthy, instrumentals and vocals. I ultimately connected with organic house, and trap/dub styles. The inspiration comes from within, but is also interchangeable throughout the community and is ultimately cultivated from it. These sounds represent the people in front of me. I draw inspiration from artists such as Tebra, Jean Vayat, Kerem Gell, Bharamji, Beats Antique, & Nextro.”

Cutting his teeth in the Florida house scene with a residency at Kill Your Idol club on South Beach and Simons in Gainesville, Parker Mills moved to Seattle in 2017 with a mission to bring the sounds he was influenced and molded by to the Rainy City. He soon gained a residency at the eclectic and infamous Reflect parties (prioritizing dub techno, minimal, and lofi house) before becoming a resident for Seattle’s premier underground dance music series Makes Me Human, which gave him the opportunity to play on support for Shonky, Janeret, and Satoshii Tomie. After 10 years of djing, he’s now mainly focused on his charity dance party series’ Revel and Give’nGroove, having brought artists such as Francois K, The Illustrious Blacks, and Theus Mago to Seattle. Whether it’s experimental tech house, straightforward disco and soul, and more edgy/minimal sounds, he has a singular focus on music that evokes an emotional response on the dancefloor. Catch him playing edgy underground as a Makes Me Human Resident, or at one of his charity pop ups under his non profit event series Give ’n Groove!

We’re so excited to have @christinemichelle_music be kicking off our Artist Spotlights! ——————————————— Christine Michelle, a Seattle based DJ and producer, was born in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and raised surrounded by music. Growing up, she played viola in an orchestra and sang in a choir, and developed a deep love for piano, brass, and strings with classical and jazz influences. She first discovered Seattle’s underground dance music scene in the early 1990’s. Her love of music and dancing grew at parties like Freak Night, Nocturnal Wonderland, and at venues like Vinylized, NFT, DV8, Noc Noc, and the Fenix Underground, to name a few. This background led her to DJing in the summer of 2022. Since then she has shared her craft at many of Seattle’s top night clubs and festivals, supporting headliners such as Ian Pooley, Dosem, and Anyasa. Christine is known for pressing the limits in mixing genres, weaving a magnetic journey of sound move dance floors and creating deep experiences. Inspired to bring the dance music together to connect and share, Christine founded Elevated Frequencies events in March of 2023. Most recently, she brings her creativity to the studio where she works to produce bass-heavy and ethereal sounds.
