Landed my biggest jump snowboarding yesterday around 4 feet up in the air with around 15 foot landing according to my friend Travis who took these photos of the action. A long time coming in my snowboarding progression. Being able to land a big jump without falling. Have to thanks Travis for inspiring me with the incredible jumps I saw him land when we went snowboarding together for the first time a few years ago. He landed an incredible full method air and got at least 6 feet in the air from the jump. Also my best snowboarding session ever as the two sessions of 30 minutes of inline skating increased my proprioception so much! Never felt so strong and balanced snowboarding ever. 1st photo is me at the highest point of the jump. 2nd photo onward is the sequence of the jump. STORY after meeting Alex, we stood on the side of the road and I asked her, โWhat are you guys trying to accomplish moving up here from California?โ Then she proceeded to share with me her familyโs dream. after hearing what she had to share, I told her I knew of a property that could accomplish all the things that she just shared with me. it had enough acreage, it had the property layout, it had the former food, producing greenhouse, it had the shops, the sheds and the agricultureโฆ we booked a same day tour. Today was one of the nicest days that we've had, weather wise, this spring. After a particularly rainy and gray spring in the Portland area, we had a sunny, if slightly chilly, April morning. We decided to take the scooters up to the Vista House via the Historic Columbia River Highway. The crowds were light due to the fact that the Vista House is closed on Wednesdays. An older couple had brought their restored classic car and it made for such a pretty picture!
