Leandro Cano fall 2024 #leandrocano Alucinante la distópica y teatral colección que presentó el diseñador español Leandro Cano en las profundidades de un lúgubre aparcamiento subterráneo en Madrid. Supone además la vuelta del diseñador andaluz a la capital española fuera del programa oficial de cualquier pasarela oficial y saltándose sin contemplaciones el ritmo de las temporadas pasando de la Primavera de 2024 y adelantándose directamente al Otoño de 2024 con una pieza única y memorable. Como es habitual en Canol con una performance elaborada que daba un sustento conceptual a su alineación. El subterráneo como una alegoría de la inquietante realidad actual se ha convertido en un elemento expresivo recurrente esta temporada Dries Van Noten, Jun Takahashi de Undercover han recurrido a escenarios parecidos para arrancar al espectador de lo cotidiano. La colección se llama Menú y es una reinterpretación de una de sus primeras colecciones titulada precisamente Buffet con la idea de un banquete esotérico y un siniestro que se plasmó en la puesta en escena inicial. Buffet fue una de sus primeras colecciones presentada a principios de 2012 y que le un nombre a tener en cuenta no sólo en la escena española de la moda sino a nivel internacional, seduciendo al propio Marc Jacobs. Lo de Cano es la retro vanguardia siempre experimental donde la tradición y la artesanía evocando sus raíces andaluzas se dan de la mano con la experimentación y la innovación. Los volúmenes escultóricos conviven con una sastrería utilitaria llena de de hábiles manipulaciones excéntricas de los patrones. La visceralidad de un Alexander McQueen en su conjunción de lo ancestral en lo actual y actitud visionaria de otra realidad. Siluetas onduladas con líneas angulosas y afiladas en una fascinante reinterpretación de las icónicas nítidas formas de Cristóbal Balenciaga, Infanta y Saco o el toile de Jouy irreverentes con un Felipe II motero cortando cabeza que conviven con monos de superhéroes y protuberancias en hombros dignas de Comme des Garçons en una alegoría surrealista donde el siglo XVI con trenzados y lazos en pantalones que parecían evocar los gregüescos de los retratos dinásticos.
El diseñador @leandrocano ha regresado a Madrid después de cinco años con un desfile donde ha presentado su su nueva colección artística, ‘MENÚ’, junto a una anticipada muestra de Otoño Invierno 2024-2025. La inspiración detrás de esta nueva colección del creador se encuentra en una vuelta a los orígenes de Cano, que revisita su primera colección "buffet" a través de la lente de la experiencia celebrando su evolución a lo largo de los años. El diseñador ofrece una amplia diversidad de siluetas abarcando desde sastrería tanto masculina como femenina y monos y chaquetas, a vestidos de corte sirena y midi.
