Everyday I’m grateful to call this beautiful place home and my photos are my attempt to honor that feeling. Oneula Beach Park is a hidden gem located on the Westside of Oahu. This is the “non-touristy” side of the island, and in my opinion, the BEST side of the island. However, we receive little help or funding from the City to maintain our beach parks - thus, this upkeep becomes the responsibility of volunteer caretakers. All profits from the sale of my photos will be donated to the @ewa_beach_surf_club to support their beach clean up efforts. Memory making || bond building. Established in 1958, the Ewa Beach Surf Club (EBSC) is a recreational organization dedicated to perpetuating our surf culture and preserving our beaches. EBSC recognizes the value of surf culture because the kinesthetic bond between surfer and wave inherently creates a respect for both the ocean, and the land surrounding it. This “aloha kai” drives the club’s mission to perpetuate our culture while acting as stewards of our precious resource. Many EBSC members have generational connections to their home break and have treasured childhood memories of surfing, fishing and camping with their extended families. Here’s why: Matt knew what actually happened BEFORE he made a video falsely blaming his opponent. Ewa Beach - this is our State Representative. He’s running for re - election using his usual lies and dirty tricks. This past weekend, a violent, disturbed individual caused chaos in the community. At some point, amongst many other actions, he tore down several candidate’s signs. Thanks to Senator Kurt Fevella, this individual was arrested. Matt LoPresti, apparently COMPLETELY unaware that this individual was causing chaos in his OWN community for DAYS, posted a lengthy diatribe on Facebook alleging that his opponent was the one that destroyed his signs. Even when multiple people reached out to him to explain the TRUE story, Matt persisted with his lies. Wake up Ewa Beach!!!
