Here is some backstory on stakoko: Hey, we are Niels and Mat! Our project started about a year ago. After meeting briefly at Pictoplasma, we made plans to work together on a 3D character art toy sculpture, or whatever you want to call it :) Mat, who is from Lisbon, has a background in architecture and toy design and Niels, currently in Berlin, just loves designing/ inventing characters. After some initial sketches, we decided to create a sculpture consisting of multiple characters. The current sculpture has four main characters + two additional ones hidden in the upper and lower figure. You can take the whole thing apart and reassemble it in various ways in order to change the sculpture’s appearance. We hope to design more of these little creatures in the future and produce them in possibly a different material. Should you have any tips on this, don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
