Max doesn’t get online much, and isn’t the easiest to get in touch with, but he and I go wayyyy back. So I was very excited to hear from him, even under the circumstances. Max is living in another country entirely now. I fact, he lives clear on the opposite side of the planet. The #covid19 #pandemic hit there sooner than it hit here, and their rules to #stopthespread sound like they were stricter than ours here. They aren’t allowed out except when absolutely necessary, so he’s spending a lot of time inside working on his communication skills with his #flatmate so they don’t kill each other. I know he’d rather be out #onthemove. Still, it was comforting to know that we’re #inthistogether. There are a lot of weighty things that we’re dealing with right now: people’s #health and #lives, people’s #livelihoods, our concerns for our #friends, #families, #coworkers, and the #frontlineworkers.
