LLAB 12 Complete!! This past Thursday Cadets from Det752 got to go to the Kingston Armory, where IMT got to do FDEs or Flight Drill Evaluations, whereas FTP got to Take part in a thing called “MTI Massacre” where they completed an ORI and had to do “Dorm Maintenance” while being assessed by the POC and a retired Marine Corps Sargent and a Retired Army Drill Sergeant to prepare for Field Training, then all of GMC formed up to participate in a Q&A session with a Retired E5 from the Marine Corps and a Retired Drill Sergeant from the Army. LLAB 9 complete!!! This past week cadets get to take part in the Ribbon cutting for the Detachment house to celebrate the finishing of the house for full use by the cadets. Then they traversed to the armory where they took part in a Rescue Mission GLP where they had to use all knowledge that they have learned over the course of the semester to complete a series of problems and tasks and in the end rescue a simulated downed airman. LLAB 8 Complete!!! This past week Cadets took part in a zoom officer panel and an in-person officer panel where the cadets were able to get their own personal questions answered by real commissioned Officers form the Air Force and an Officer Army. Then the cadets took part in road guarding procedures to march to the greenway for Retreat, where the Detachment 752 Honor Guard team got to lower the flag, present the flag, fold the flag, and then secure the colors. This past Thursday Cadets were at the Kingston Armory, where they got to listen to a great presentation on the Green Bandana Project, a Reverse GLP where the FTP cadets took part in making a GLP and having both IMT and POC cadets taking part in the activity, then completing with drill review, and a great PT session to close off training! Leadership Laboratory Twelve Complete! Last week was a challenge… literally! Both flights spent the entire day outside, first practicing IED and UXO scenarios. Next everyone split into groups to navigate three “villages” throughout Kirby Park. Lastly both flight’s pursued the WARRIOR CHALLENGE consisting of marching, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups… and plenty of running! Each flight raced all across Kirby Park to see who could complete the stations the fastest! Each cadet utilized everything they learned so far to push through the day! No one was left behind!
