Hey! If you don't already know me, here is another meet the maker post. I am a maker of many things and always have been. I started with jewelry and when my body couldn't handle that anymore, I discovered my love for sewing. My eclectic little mobile botique includes reworked clothing and other vintage items, handmade patches, and custom work with with my Singer #chainstitchembroidery machine. I have been popping up at local markets for a little over two years now and look forward to every event. I purchased my vintage horse trailer a year ago and am working on expanding my business as a photobooth rental. I also am a high school teacher. I was able to create my own sewing class and have built the class from grants, community donations and funding. I am a mom of two adorable girls, and wife to @bobbywardrobes. I am local to Livermore, CA but will soon be moving to east Tennessee where I am excited to join the maker community there. As time went on, the opportunities to get into peoples homes were fewer and fewer. Things changed my business! Good changes, but ones that made it less necessary to load up and haul around 1,000 garments on the daily! ;) I connected with you online! And sometimes you popped by. But it suited both of us. . . Enter 2020. A year of unmeasurable unknowns. A year of isolation. A year of reconsidering priorities. . . I found myself LONGING for the “old” ways of doing things. I found myself really wishing I was in YOUR living room instead of mine. AGAIN. I found myself reinventing how to connect with you because I WANTED TO CONNECT WITH YOU. . . And you were always there! 💕 . . Today I loaded up my mobile boutique and set up at a vendor event. It’s not your home, but it’s totally up there because I got to see so many of you in real life. But SAFELY. And RESPECTFULLY. ❤️ I got to see your right-now-smile and not your Facebook profile photo!
