This was a bank turned into cafe. The architecture was beautiful. But it was packed with people that planned on sitting here all day. Ridiculous wait time to just get a drink and the pastries were just ok. You have to rent the booths to have a decent place to sit. We tried out the tasting menu at Chef Chuck Hughes' restaurant. The seafood platter was the best. I haven't had raw oysters for such a long time, forgot how delicious they tasted. They were from NB and PEI. The other dishes was a mixed bag. I feel like my taste buds have changed or chefs 👨‍🍳 palette had been overly creative. Some were quite bland yet some had shocking sour pickle taste. The dessert with the coconut coffee ice cream cake was heavily. The restaurant is so dark though, it was hard to see what the heck I was eating.
