š„ Revealing the new vibe of my main setup š„ Now I couldn't let the second setup outshine the main setup now could I? You may have noticed I have been using my second setup a lot more than my main. I adore my new second setup but it's because I have had the main setup with no furniture as I switched up the vibe for the past few weeks. My past vibe was beautiful and I loved it but it was definitely not setup properly for audio. I designed it before I started collecting and it was time to convert it to a proper record room. Luckily when I redid the library, my parents had some chairs they no longer needed. They matched the earthy boho vibe the room was starting to go toward with this setup. With the additions of some plants and a quick re-arrange and voila... A gorgeous and functional setup! Can't wait to relax and listen to so many records in here now again, it's been too long. Of course throwing it way back with some classic Beatles. š¶ Fav Song: Saw Her Standing The šæ @reporecord 180 gram repress

Sleeveface of the day Preoccupations- āViet Congā (2015) Preoccupations (@pre_occupations) is a Canadian post-punk band. This is their debut LP. Itās one of those records that I would like to erase from my head, just because I would like to listen it for the first time again! It had such a strong impact in me on first listen! All the tracks are perfect. It starts with an introductory track that sets a kinda military atmosphere (not sure if itās the music or the name of the record that takes me to that context). The feeling gets stronger on track 2 - Pointless Experince - mainly due to the perfect drums by Mike Wallace, while the verse āif weāre lucky weāll get old and dieā gets stuck on the back of your mind. It progresses perfectly with a sometime claustrophobic postpunk atmosphere. Everything seems very good until you turn the record to side B. Then it gets so incredible that it transforms the record in a masterpiece. Continental shelf is probably the most easy track of the record, but it still has an atmosphere of distortion that makes is priceless. Then āSilhouettesā makes it faster and heavier, with incredible bass and the guitar screaming in then back while Matt sings āthereās no connection left in your head; I know you look at things to forget; I know the world in sense of regret; relay, replay, react and resetā It finishes with āDeathā. I couldnāt think of a better way to finish such a strong musical experience. Itās a long track, very unconventional, with an intermediate part of long repetition that prepares you for the screaming climax. This record could easily feature an all time favourites list, if I ever made one. I also had the chance to see them live twice in Lisboa (last photo in a gig in Musicbox 2016). Preoccupations still amaze me with their Arrangments and New Material but Viet Cong is my no1 record of them. This record made me reexplore postpunk and discover bands like Protomartyr (@protomartyrband ), Suuns (@suuns_mtl) or Metz (@metz_theband).
