I left my hometown Athens, Greece in 2006 but the bond with the city and its clubbers never fade out. On the contrary the connection its becoming even bigger every day. The Word since the first event is: “Turn Greenville into Houseville”. He was born and raised in Germany, where House Music was everywhere. When he grew up, he was spending most of his time in the local DJ store after school and became a huge lover of house music. From 2002 on he was part of many events all over Germany until his first endeavor to USA in 2012 to 2014 when he took a break from music. House Music was the New Thing in Italy. His DJ career started at the age of 15. Life events forced him to break from the Music scene for a bit while moving to the USA. He arrived in Houston, TX, and there he had the luck to live not far from the historic Montrose club called The Flat where he quickly obtained a small residency. The passion for music took over his life again. Exposure to Soulful House Music came right after, and was love at first listen. DJ Sawce moved to Greenville, SC in 2016 and since then he has been working hard to promote and foster House and Disco Music culture by connecting with local music scene and reaching out to other realities in nearby cities. He founded the Greenville House Music Movement, and organized a few House Music Festivals. He is now focused on exposing people to House Music by continuously searching for new locations and new crowds. Given a set of decks by a longtime friend in 1998 and the rest is history. First live gig October 1999 Anderson, SC. Opened for Robbie Hardkiss 2001. He has been playing on and off all over Greenville for 25 years. Brews late night, Blu Martini, Myrtle Beach Bar and grille, Ridgeways (Clemson 1999), SIP, Salsateque, 1150 (Atl), Bonjour, Vine. Threw 3 one off events with success in 2015-2016 under the moniker FWD productions. Style of choice is progressive house, some tech, and some vocal. Last night I got to see the legendary @koramusique who is local to MTL @ Stereo, and it was incredible!!! 🤩🤩🤩🥹🙌🏼✨I went out by myself & it felt so empowering to take on the big city solo. 28 April - #SundayStretchDay Feeling much more myself today so clearly yesterday‘s break was definitely needed. Picked up a saved mobility session from last year that had a little more focus on weight- bearing and lower body movements. Tomorrow it is back to the program. Skinned and boned the turkey breast - carcass now in the freezer along with some chicken bones waiting to be converted to stock. I decided instead of roasting the breast, I would portion it into cutlets and freeze those. Seasoned the remaining 8 ounces of scrap pieces with Italian herbs, seared and put up for use in frittatas and snacks this week. My only remaining food prep for the week is to make my next batch of soup. I’ll prepped and sauteed the veggies this afternoon. Only thing left is to combine those with my other ingredients in the morning and simmer till done.
