Update on the RSX. Finally got coilovers and the suspension finished up. Ended up getting the Tein Flex Z coils and SPC rear camber arms. Paired with the progress rear + front sway bars and adjustable end links, this thing handles like it’s on rails. While doing that, I also switched out the front and rear brake lines for some stainless steel braided ones and flushed the fluid for Motul RBF600. Got myself some Spoon mirrors. Anyone who drives a RSX knows how bad the blind spots are and this got rid of them completely! Last thing I did was I got rid of that ugly tow hitch. The hitch ended up being welded to the bumper so I just decided to junk the steel bumper and replace it with a light weight, aluminum bumper. Big thanks to my friend @benthealchemist for all the help. The last clip is of him driving my car around. The video doesn’t do it justice for how well this car whips around corners. It is always great to see a car back you haven’t worked on in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find this #b7s4 sitting out front of the shop this morning. We started taking care of this car years ago for the original owner when is was all stock, that customer sold it to another customer and we upgraded the suspension to #handrsprings with #bilstein shocks, added a #neuspeed catback exhaust and #audirotor wheels. The last thing we did on it was the timing chains and the vehicle switched hands again and we lost track of it. It’s been sitting for about 8 years now and the new owner wants us to get it freshened up. It was and still is such a clean looking #oemplus car. Stay tuned for the progress. #audi #v8 #s4

On all 4s again! Still need to install the rear bumper, gas door, and windshield, but it drove under its own power. What all did I do to it this winter? Chris down at Fine Tuning in Seattle built my CR 020 for me. All new bearings, seals, Eurosport Accessories mini slip, ARP bolt kit. It bolted in over a BBM light flywheel and fresh Sachs clutch. Rebuilt shifter with Techtonics short shift and Neuspeed weighted lever. All new engine and transmission mounts from Techtonics, Schrick finned aluminum oil pan, Motul oils, couple fresh CV boots, Rock Auto provided a Bilstein and Eibach suspension kit, and a few other random pieces. Also installed my restored Autotech hollow swaybars, Powerflex rear beam bushings, Hella euro headlamps, new hatch and tail lamp seals from Vintage Rubber, new rear tail panel, and of course the refinished ABT wheels with new Nitto rubber. Quite a list of stuff, I can't wait to get the screen in, and see how it drives. Turning this #welp into a PSA: CHECK YOUR UNDERCARRIAGES! While on the lift to complete some exhaust repairs, we happened to glance back at this Q5’s subframe only to notice some SERIOUS rust hiding behind its splash shields. It seems that the subframe had been taking on water and the factory shields had been keeping this awful secret. Thankfully we caught it before something major happened on the road (this SUV is also a regular at the local drag strip).
