🦖💚 DINO THEME? 💚🦖 You wouldn’t know from the face paint designs they requested, but this was in fact a Dinosaur Theme Party I painted at on Sunday. Just FYI.. There were plenty of dinosaur designs to choose from. But I think this is a great example for customers planning themed parties. 🌈⭐️ MIRROR MOMENTS ⭐️🌈 One of the absolute best parts of my job are the ‘mirror moments’, the final reveal to show the customer (young or older!) what I’ve created for them. There’s something so joyful about seeing huge smiles and hearing the word, “WOW!” never gets old! But sometimes, especially with children, they can appear not to react at all, they are are almost stunned into silence and will look very seriously and intensely at themselves. Parents often apologise to me and reassure me that they do actually love it. 🤣 Believe me, it happens more frequently than you would imagine, so I take no offence at all! But because of that, it’s one of the reasons I created my ‘Appreciation Station’… it’s so children can come back as much as they like to look and admire themselves freely. 🥁 DRUM ROLL TIME 🥁 After a LOT of thinking and planning, I have finally decided to re-open before all restrictions are lifted on July 19th. I will only be taking on very small outdoor parties, with a max of 15 children/participants to paint in 2 hours. This will allow me the time to clean all my equipment thoroughly between each child. It’s not ideal, but I know many people are so keen to book me for small garden gatherings that I wanted to find a way to be able to do this safely and within the government guidelines.
