Heute habe ich mir auf der Pflanzentauschbörse vom @nabu_muensterland ein paar Tomatenpflänzchen mitgenommen. Die sind aber nicht nur für uns zum Essen da, sondern auch für meine Kundinnen und Kunden 🍅 Ich arbeite wahnsinnig gerne mit Materialien, die man in der klassischen Floristik eher selten antrifft. Chilis oder Rispen von Cherrytomaten gehören definitiv dazu 😄 Auch Kräuter liebe ich (besonders in Brautsträußen), weil sie in Kombination mit den Blumen ein ganz besonderes Geruchserlebnis zaubern! Ich liebe es einfach, wenn meine Bräute nicht nur die Optik ihrer Sträuße bewundern, sondern auch ganz verzückt die Nase hinein halten ☺️ Welcher Kräuterduft dürfte in eurem Strauß nicht fehlen? Some updates: My bestie of all time graduated and will be going even further at the university of Minnesota, I love you @pararow and I'm so proud of you for everything you've accomplished thus far. I got baptized on easter, one of the happiest days of my life and I wouldn't have even gotten to this point without a faithful team behind me. ✦ F I R E H E A R T S F A I R Y L I G H T S & F L O W E R C R O W N S ✦ My patients often hear me refer to acupuncture treatments being either on the: mind, body or spirit level or discussing their ‘spiritual’ health. Spirit has a different meaning in Chinese medicine, referring to our spirit is not talking about anything ghostly and talking of your spirituality or spiritual health has little to do with religion. In Chinese medicine, spirit is the animation unique to our person that allows us to embrace and express our most authentic self. Along with the mind and body - spirit is what frames our orientation, intention and relationship with the world around us. Ultimately, spirit determines HOW we are able to engage with the world around us, with what truly makes us tick and what the world has to offer. Where conventional medicine fails is not encouraging us to fuel our spirit and care for it and if we are not healthy in spirit, our mind and body health will follow closely behind, causing mental and physical illness. 📸👆🏼: meet my sister and soul sister. My love language? Witnessing a friend manifest dreams. So, I found myself basking in @missmarcidarling glow during her Film Festival debut and @ted talk. Which unexpectedly and serendipitously became a crash course on moving through grief. We held hands during her documentary @nitazitaproject her love letter to our beloved friend @lucky I watched her rehearse her #tedtalks about the connection between art and grief that is as old as time. Through the effervescent and color storytelling exclusive to Marci Darling she shared that through the creative act, we actually change our brain, rewire those negative connections, and transform ourselves. So when my furperson, The General became gravely ill during my visit, I rushed back home through a nor'easter snow storm prepared to face the heartbreak I was returning to armed with my Darling artist toolkit My morning rituals were desperate for a loving change with my kitty no longer by my side. Yearning for a guiding map upon waking, aligning it with my #GoddessShine Leadership Retreat vision. Jack's surprise: an easel, paint tubes, canvas, and art supplies galore. The freedom found in not overthinking, choosing warm melon pink to begin. Marci Darling's TED talk wisdom resonating: painting reshapes the brain, hand motions releasing feel-good chemicals. Immersed in the enchantment of colors and creativity, @dancinggoddess joined me through facetime and while I painted she danced to @taylorswift #thetorturedpoetsdepartment Inspired by Taylor vintage typewriters, I crafted my list on my vintage typewriter and make my daily dedication look like poem I gave my altar a make-over so that this poem painting map would be featured and that I would have oodles of crowns to adorn and practice the art of receiving wealth.
