Added my #skleds plug and play H11 leds to this 2021 dodge ram to replace the halogen bulbs as well as my canbus module to keep them working like oem and not have errors. These are brighter than my SKhids and just what the customer wanted. Increased night time visibility without any glare because my leds are made to focus light with the reflector just like the original halogens. Don’t be fooled by all these cheap and expensive plug and play leds that are brighter but only output light to each side only. So those bulbs glare at oncoming traffic and don’t give you the focused depth you need to see. They’re just glorified fog lights. Came out to @tmpcayuga for the Mach-E GT to test the difference in handling to the Premium model…I approve. Active suspension keeps the car pulling thru the corners. While 1:44 isn’t a good time, I did that without trying. With the Premium it was a lot of effort. Although the GT blew thru 10% of the battery in 8 laps. Managed to wind’er up to 148km in the straight before the limiter kicked it and reduced power. Nice to play for the evening at @tmpcayuga …. but an EV is just to heavy to be a track car…. Spent most of the time waiting for the brakes to cool. One could build a purpose builtEV for the track, if it would need a tiny battery to save weight. Fun to come burn in the brakes though - something I rarely use day to day driving. Currently the only guy in the paddock at @tmpcayuga fueling his vehicle for free between sessions. The heavy @ford Mach-E lasts for about 2-4 laps before the brakes are on fire. @parkwayford service told me that I need to use the brakes more….not sure this is quite what they meant. Customer came by with his truck as he had a retrofit done and now was giving him issues. He tried to get it fixed locally to him and they got no where. He wanted to replace everything and start fresh. Instead I test what he had and found his relay wasn’t working and his bulbs needed replacing. After cleaning everything up I found a couple broken grounds and wire. Replaced them with some new bulbs and he had perfectly working headlights again. Including some features of the retrofit which weren’t working to start working again. I could have replaced everything and he wouldn’t have cared as long as it works but that’s not the way I do buisness. You work hard for your money and I’m not going to steal it away from you selling you what you don’t need or want.
