Just a younger version of Bullet with her little brother Trunks. I just had this idea of them wearing clothes that looks a lot like their mother's clothes. I think trunks would be very happy to be taller than Bullet. I like to think Bullet used to have hair colour similar to trunks and as she got older her hair changed to blue just like future trunks in dragon ball super. Some lore: in here Bullet has stopped training and is focusing more on her research and work in the lab( she can still fight). This is the Disco Doctor. Yeah, that’s right. He’s a doctor and likes to party all the time. Why? Well, at one point, his last patient had a heart condition. He figured that the best way to fix the problem is by using the most known device in any hospital in the world, the defibrillator. Given the fact that he found the device so awesome, he ‘accidentally’ set it up to a high maximum voltage. He shouted out, ‘Clear!’, placed the pads onto the patient’s chest and shocked the patient strikingly, his skeleton bursted out of skin and landed on the doctor. The doctor freaked out and then realised something. Skeletons are shown to be floppy and loose, so the doctor decided to dance around with the skeleton in his spare time outside work. Illustrating fairies is keeping me very entertained. Finishing something in one day is quite the novelty. I’m using these original studies to motivate and to inform drawing development. There is always a tug of war between drawing and making in the fairy workshop. Making has always provided the income and therefore commands it’s place with more force. Although necessary, drawing is often relegated to quick design sketches in favour of precious making time. But I’ve always had a real urge to tell bigger stories with my characters. Explore the possibilities that sculpting limits. But I’ve so many barriers to overcome when it comes to working on paper. So little experimental drawing experience. My degree was fabulous, but this element seemed to pass me by. Prioritising making as ever. I’m saying this out loud to force myself forward. I’ve booked onto an exciting course with @orangebeakstudio and will be keeping a look out for more. Needed a positive post to counteract the fact that I’ve spent much of the day under a duvet feeling sorry for myself 🤢 Quite nice to have time to think though 😊
