To all the fans of @gingerthebengalcat I wanted to give you an update. I’ve scheduled Ginger an appointment with her vet this Monday at 1:30PM. As you know I discontinued her daily steroid shots over two weeks ago. Her quality of life at the end is far more important than the quantity of days I have left with her. In these two weeks she is no longer scared of me. She is no longer hiding under the guest room bed and refusing to come out. She is laying in my lap and being comforted by my presence. All I ask is that you continue to pray for our baby. I will give you an update Monday late afternoon. Ginger specifically told me to thank all of her fans for their well wishes. She is one special cat!! Her weight has diminished greatly. Ginger wants her fans to know that she had an excellent report today at the vets office @nipperscornerpetmed. She had her 10th and final B12 shot. Plus we are now tapering down the steroid shots to every other day. Thank you!!!! Maybe now she will stop hiding under the bed and come out and play with Sam and Eli. They checked her liver and kidneys as well today. Both organs have not been compromised by the steroids. Apparently she’s doing great. I was slightly disappointed with a tad bit of weight loss.
