The start of Beardmores Track! This picturesque river crossing at the start is what you will greeted with down the bottom of the valley👌🏼 It’s one of few tracks located at the bottom of the Thomson Dam wall, this river has the tendency to rise rapidly when the gates are open to let water out of the Thomson catchment. There has been times the crossing has been up above the bonnet when crossing.
