In her words: "It took a while, but it's finally here! I'm really happy to have been recognised. It was worth it not to give up in the first place because I'm almost blind and therefore considered disabled. It was worth overcoming the obstacles and adversities that a person with limitations faces on a daily basis. It was also worth not giving up on being a mum, wife, and athlete! It was definitely worth it! Thank you so much for this national recognition." At the Paralympic Athletics World Championships held in Paris in June 2023, she achieved a remarkable personal best by completing the distance in just 55.68 seconds.
