Well it’s time to say goodbye to my Buick and hello to my new baby. She’s a 2016 Kia soul with $33,000 miles. I’ve been on the hunt for a new car since September. Nothing drove like my 2003 Buick. I love my Buick. The back windows have broken motors so my windows are taped up. The button for the heat dial broke so I have to use a pliers to turn the nob. I had a slow leak in my tire, it made my tire light come on the dash and it never went out. She’s loud when she’s running and sprung a leak months ago. We did some stop leak. It worked for a while. Until a few weeks ago. I came out of home goods to find a huge puddle of antifreeze under my car. We tried the stop leak again. It’s kind of working, but we’re adding a gallon of antifreeze every few days. I knew my car was getting old and I needed to replace it before I ended up stranded. I’ve test drove dozens of cars. Looked on dozens of websites. Been all over Minnesota looking at different dealerships. Nothing seemed like the right fit. I wanted a newish car with low miles and under 15k. Apparently that’s not easy these Days. I love my car broken parts and all. It drove thru snow like a dream. Yesterday I was looking on #cargurus and saw this #kiasoul I instantly fell in love. It was under my price range with low miles. Has amazing safety features. I knew I wanted it before I drove it. After seeing it I fell in love more. It’s so comfortable. Clean looks brand new for being a 2016. So I bought it. Drove it home yesterday afternoon. Elliana likes it which is also important to me. I want her to like our car. I also bought a 15 year warranty for the engine and pretty much everything under the hood except the battery. If my engine or transmission break I can get it fixed under the warranty. That gives me peace of mind. After months and months of stressing over cars I finally found the one!
