This has been heavy on my heart and mind today, so I’m just gonna say it. Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Dobermans are all considered “aggressive dogs”. Our Ruger Roux is all 3 of those breeds. He’s mostly Rottie, clearly, but the other 2 breeds he’s got mixed in really show out in other areas as well. He has his moments where he argues with us in his Rottie grunts and growls. He is EXTREMELY protective, especially of his mama (the only times he’s ever “aggressive”). When he gets a rare burst of energy, it’s the funniest thing we’ve ever seen. He doesn’t snuggle very much, but the brief moments when he does, we enjoy and soak up every second. Here’s a pupdate on our sweet boy!🐶🖤 He’s a whole 43lbs, only about 20lbs to go and he’ll be caught up to his big brother! He has ANOTHER ear infection, this time in the other ear😩 he’ll be 5 months old in about a week and a half, and he got his last round of shots + his rabies vaccine today, so hopefully he won’t have to go back to the vet for a whole year!🤞🏼He’s gotten better on his leash and with being out in public, which is a HUGE improvement (he hasn’t always been the friendliest pup). He still chews up everything and still has trouble with getting carsick, but overall, our boy is happy, healthy, and growing like a weed!💛💛 #Blessed #RugerRoux #TheAdamsFamily

I haven’t done a pupdate on our baby love in a while! We visited our friends at Haughton Animal Hospital today, and he weighs a whopping 28.2 pounds + the poor baby has an ear infection😕We discovered today that when he’s nervous, he drools A LOT and he gets carsick. (Sorry Beth😅😅) He’s still not too sure about the car or his leash, but he’s doing better with both, and we’ll keep practicing and taking him for short car rides to help him learn to love it like his big brother!❤️He’s 3 months old and is already so much bigger than he was when we first brought him home🥺When he’s scared, the person he runs to is Mama, and we love every second of his sweet snuggles!🥰 We love this little stinker so much and can’t wait to watch him come out of his shell a little more!💛💛 #Blessed #RugerRoux #TheAdamsFamily #OurBabyLove
