Highlighting a super sweet boy we’ve recently rescued- Cheech! This stunning man came to us from our rural shelter partner after being brought in as a stray. Sadly he sat for a few weeks and no one came forward. While we think Cheech is just amazing he was one of over 300 dogs in the shelter and didn’t stand a chance at getting out. We got Cheech out and into foster and we are so glad we did! This boy is a potato land seal mix of some kind and weighs around 65 pounds! Sadly someone butchered his ears but he still thinks he looks fantabulous 💅 Cheech is a bit of an air head and doesn’t have much going on up in the ol noggin if you catch our drift. What he lacks in brain power he makes up for in LOVE. Cheech is extremely dog friendly and LOVES playing with Margot. Cheech literally loves everyone and every dog he meets. Cheech is house trained and crate trained and just the BEST boy. Lots of play time, naps, and walks over here! Atlas has been learning to trust us more and has been more comfortable in the house, and is getting used to all the new noises that come with living in a home like blinds closing, dishes being put away, and noises that come from the TV and speakers. We've learned that he loves to go for walks, he loves to carry around toys and make cute little noises, and he loves his couch naps. Meet the adorable Annie!! Annie is a 3 month old Lab mix puppy weighing about 10 lbs. She is the cutest and softest little bundle of joy that just wants to snuggle with you all day long! Hana goes home! This low riding, practically perfect velvet hippo came to us from our friends at @bostonanimalcontrol after being found as a stray. Big kudos to amazing PittieLove foster dad Alex for getting this girl out of the shelter. Hana Banana had clearly lived a less than ideal life prior to coming into our care- her skin was awful, and she had very obviously had multiple litters of puppies. Rest assured, she has known nothing but a life of luxury since then. In foster she has shown just how sweet and loving she actually is- one of her favorite pastimes was to groom her foster brother like a baby, all 90lbs of him 🤣 Hana waited patiently for her perfect forever family to be found- and found they were! Here she is, pictured happily with forever mom Dayna, dad Al, and two-legged puppies, we mean siblings, Brianna, JJ, and Mikey. From the moment she met her family, she went into quintessential mama mode, ensuring each baby’s location was known and they were safe. They say when a dog picks their family, you know. Since then it became about our journey as fosters for a local rescue Forever Home Feline Ranch. Through it all you have been there for the highs, the lows, and everything in between. You’ve seen Minerva give birth to her last litter of kittens. You’ve watched as our Cat Avengers taught the recruits what it means to be a Cat Avenger. 🚨Another ER visit - we need help!🚨 Poor little Cheesecake has been under the weather the last couple of days… shivering, fever, lethargic… and this afternoon her stool was white. As you can imagine, that’s not a good sign so we sent foster mom to the ER vet. You can tell in these pictures that sweet baby doesn’t feel good. Good news! I had a huge donation of cat beds, feeders, climbers, litter trays and food today. When I was taking Billy Bear for his chemo, I made a connection with another cat dad who was going through the same thing. Sadly, last week, his poor cat passed away. Tal y como se puede ver en las fotos Pablo tiene una vía puesta porque ha pasado por un episodio muy complicado y ha estado muy grave. Tanto que su casa de acogida pensaba que no lo iba a superar. Los bebés son muy delicados, especialmente los que no tienen la suerte de crecer con su madre al lado y éste es uno de los motivos por los que os decimos que ni se gestionan adopciones ni se tienen en cuenta solicitudes de adopción para gatos tan pequeños. A pesar de repetirlo en cada una de las publicaciones prácticamente a diario llegan mensajes de adopción. 🆘 SENIOR ALERT - HELP NEEDED 🆘 Sweet and gentle 14 year old senior, Phoebe, is losing her home as her family is no longer able to keep her. Her former foster has graciously offered to take her back. Due to her age and a few health concerns, Phoebe will likely remain at her foster mom’s home for the rest of her life to enjoy her twilight years under the care of the rescue. Phoebe is currently in Brooklyn but her foster mom moved to Virginia 3 years ago so we are asking for donations to cover her transport fees to get her to her foster. We’re also asking for help to cover her special dietary food necessities. We plan to assess her health once she gets to her foster but as of now we know she has early stage kidney disease and dental disease. While it is sad when a senior pet loses their home, we’re grateful her foster mom has agreed to care for her for the rest of her life. It was a pleasure to chat to each and every person 😊 We have happily added everyone to our list of future potential adopters 😊 Blossom has settled much better than we ever expected, taking over as the head of her family, is absolutely adored and will forever be happy as a very special part of her newfound life. Life hasn’t been easy for me lately. Losing my soul dog was like losing a part of my soul and my life will be forever changed. The heartache was unbearable at times and I know grief takes over. In honor of our rescue Patch, we are fostering another pittie (which is how we got our boy) This is Auggie (August) you can find him on Greenville County Animal Care website listed as Tate. He is a wonderful dog. He doesn’t leave my side and is my protector. I almost feel like he knows I’m struggling with sorrow. We don’t know all of Auggie’s story but he came in the shelter with a broken leg and tail. His left leg had to be amputated. He gets around really well and has adjusted to the change. He is potty trained with lots of potty breaks, crate trained, loves kids and people, does good with dogs after a slow introduction, loves to snuggle, and does great on a leash. Auggie is 5 months old so he has puppy energy and is mouthy. I am working on his manners.
