It is always good when you go to a new restaurant and the food and service are amazing, but none of that can compare to having all that with your daughter, especially after enjoying a whole day working with her. We worked on an interior door rejuvenation for her home renovation project and when dinner came, Lauren looked amazing and dinner with her was a dream. We went to SNOB Restaurant (Slightly North of Broad) and shared a Crab Soup that was deliciously full of crab meat. I had a great perfectly prepared Swordfish steak and Lauren had a beautifully cooked pork chop paired with drinks called the Summer Garden. A really refreshing and very tasty cucumber and jalapeno tequila cocktail. We talked and caught up and I was beyond happy and proud to be with her. Afterwards we stopped at Carmello's on King and I had to get the Hummingbird Cake for dessert to top off the evening. Almost ate the whole thing, ugh! The whole day was so much fun, working together, catching up, taking a walk on the docks, and having a quick celebratory beer at Salty Mike's after the satisfying door stripping went so well. It was a perfect day with my daughter and I can't wait for the next time, oh and you have to try SNOB when in Charleston too, it's a must. Made it to Charleston SC from the ICW. Anchored out by Fort Sumter our first night. Next morning moved and anchored right in front Wappoo creek Bridge bypass. Outboard engine for our dingy stopped working so we were rowing to shore but thankfully a local came out and towed us in by his dingy, also got a new outboard engine. Finally got to explore a little afterwards. We will never forget our first trip to Charleston. ♡♡ P.S.
