So we finally got around to building my personal @salvun @wilba.tech Salvation and let me say this board is awesome. I tried the board plateless with the FR4 mounting springs. The typing feel is something out of this world - super bouncy and almost like a trampoline. The Salvation 60 by @salvun & @wilba.tech , launched and ran its Group-Buy in April 2021, generated much excitement among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts as it combined the expertise of renowned figures in the custom keyboard world, Wilba.Tech and Salvun, at a relatively affordable price of $300 back then. In my personal experience, when I finally built and streamed the keyboard, I found the typing experience satisfactory. Although there were some drawbacks like imperfect finishing, anode and notable resonance, the maker provided tips to minimize the resonance issue. For me, it remains a keyboard worth experiencing (of course, at a reasonable price) with a unique design blending a touch of modern and classic elements (leaf-spring mount + tray case system). . . . Let me introduce you to the disappointment build: This build is by far the most underwhelming one I've done to date. I was so excited for both the Salvation keyboard and GMK Red Dragon. Both items are personal worsts with respect to delays from expected to actual delivery dates. GMK Red Dragon- Originally run in Oct 2020 with an expected delivery of Q3 2021. This set did not arrive until April 2023, about 2.5 years later. There were several issues during production, the modifiers had 4 rounds of color matching and the red text had to be changed due to pigment sourcing issues. While the bright red turned out pretty close the modifiers though, that's where the problem lies. After so long to have them come out so different from the render is frustrating. They are far more maroon than a very deep almost blackish red. This set turned out looking exactly like the renders of GMK Infernal. If I had bought the 'Zhuyin' alt alphas set it would've been the exact same set. ANOTHER set by Rensuya that doesn't match the renders. Salvation- Run in April 2021, arrived in late March 2023. The original expected delivery time was Q4 2021. This board sold a lot better than originally expected, causing serious delays. The other main issue was anodization, took a while to find an anodizer that could meet quality requirements apparently. The anodization is really well done, the color match is perfect. The main issues I have are the typing feel and sound. The sound profile is very different the further you get away from the center of the board. It sounds great in the center area but starts to sound pretty hollow on the outside keys. The typing feel is what really left me wanting more. It is far stiffer than I anticipated with such a unique mounting system. I was expecting a flexier feel, but it is pretty stiff in my setup with the hotswap PCB. It's not a bad experience just nowhere near what I expected. Also the enter Rama key is a joke. The tolerances are way too high. Shouldn't have to modify something so dramatically to fit a standard mx stem. Especially when the R1 Rama fits perfectly. Frustrating to wait so long for something very average.

@wilba.tech 's Salvation in Samurai Blue (manufactured by @salvun ) Very unique take on the tray mount. This blue is really stunning in person and I think it's slowly growing on me... Was a super long wait, but excited to experiment with different configs. Plateless build on the weirdflex pcb soon??? Currently built with lubed Cherry MX Black Clear-Tops (New Nixies) on a carbon fiber plate, and GMK WoB. It's a firm typing experience but not crazy overbearing. I typed on boards that are more stiff with similar stiffness plates. 04/2021 ~ 02/2023 Almost 2 years of waiting for the wilba.tech Salvation, but it's finally home. I've been preparing for this board for a year, and now that it's finally here, I get to build this beautiful board. RAED linears, and some red hangul sublegends top of this clean af board. I had to put some plate foam to kill off some resonance with the fr4 plate, but overall it sounds clacky and crisp. I'd say the highlight of the board is really the red shade. It's not as bright as I originally thought it'd be, but it actually turned out way better in person. It's such a nice deep red that really works well with the simpler keycaps.
