Digging through some more of my dad’s photos I found a badly damaged one which I tried to clean up a bit. It’s of yours truly as a young chap, peering through the hole on Ledbury footbridge. I’m probably about three which would make it sometime around ‘79/80. The bridge looks like the one crossing the line in 1958, albeit minus the complete canopy roof. I’ve monged out a few times at Ledbury over the past decade or so and if someone were to ask me if the bridge in sitchu’ is still the original one , I would’ve said yes and put money on it; however, the photo taken a couple of yrs ago clearly shows a newer bridge (this is why I’m a shit gambler LOL). Hole’s still there though.
