Tiden för lek ökade, men blev samtidigt mer strukturerad och separerad från vuxenvärlden. Idag sker leken i olika miljöer som förskolor, skolor, fritidshem och idrottsföreningar, ofta reglerad av vuxna. Vissa hävdar att dagens vuxna ”matar” barnen med för många aktiviteter och fritidsintressen, vilket skulle kunna missgynna den fria leken och fantasin. Det finns många teorier och åsikter om barns utveckling, behov och lärande, men enighet råder idag om att leken är oerhört viktig för barn. ‘Last’ (2012) formed part of a synthesised project that began with ‘Smart Price’ (2012) at @thresholdfest The body of work questioned the ethics and viability of cradle-to-grave processes that drain natural resources with little or no regard for the minerals, materials and people that are utilised. The work contained 132,000 plastic knives and forks, a neon sign and silver birch tree. Note, the tree & plastic cutlery had already been designated as waste before I repurposed them. They were both recycled after the exhibition. ダイロッカン @6okken Part of a photo archive series by me 【Vision team】 アドリブの合体で6人の全体像を楽しむアーティスト達。 一見すると一人一人が個性の赴くままに別々の表現をしているようで、実は繋がる点を大切にしていることがチームの為でもありながら、アーティスト達の仲の良さを表しているように感じた。(優美な死骸 *1) そんな彼らの生活していた部屋がそのまま森に出現。長い付き合いの仲間、夫婦、初対面が混在する中、2週間の生活で分かったお互いの習慣や話し方、言いそうなことからその人になりきって相手の大切なものを紹介するパフォーマンスは、よく見ていたんだなと愛(繋がる点)が伝わってくる心温まるものだった。(LARP *2) The artists seemed to enjoy what would happen if they improvised and connected their personalities freely.(※1 le cadavre exquis) The room where they had lived for two weeks appeared intact in the forest. I don't recall having seen this one before, taken by Kelly in 1989 from across Arthur Pierce Road which was gravel back then.
