We had a fabulous time welcoming prospective students and families to our Whole School Open Event on Saturday (25th February)! 🥰 The excitement was palpable as a record high number of families explored our campus, met our students, staff and parent ambassadors, and soaked up the ambience for which King's is renowned. None of our guests left hungry or thirsty that is for sure (we hope you all enjoyed the popcorn and cookies!), and the children's magician and daffodil gifts seemed to be well received. In an email sent to our Admissions Team over the weekend, one guest wrote: "We attended the Open Event with our daughter and we were very impressed with what we saw. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone." Another visitor wrote: "We would like to thank the whole team for a perfect morning at King's Ely. Our boys loved it and are ready to move in on Monday!" There are so many aspects of school life at King's Ely which make us 'Uniquely King's'. One of them is without a shadow of doubt, our close links with @ely_cathedral. The magnificent 'Ship of the Fens' serves as our School Chapel and makes the perfect setting for assemblies, concerts and more! 🤩 These photos were taken at King's Ely Junior's Prizegiving, which took place inside the Cathedral during the final week of term. The Golding Family joined King's Ely in September 2020. Edward joined Year 2 at King's Ely Acremont Pre-Prep and he will be starting in Year 4 at King's Ely Junior in September.
