One last, but not least, playwright to introduce you to for #dramaatthedepot, the lovely, Mell Flinn! Come along to @leithdepot138, 8pm start, this Monday 8th, to see how Mell, and all of our writers, have interpreted our #SpringFever theme. Mell Flinn is a playwright, visual artist and practicing art psychotherapist working in the third sector. She had her play The Meeting performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2018 and recently completed a play about art psychotherapy with parents and infants as part of an arts based research project for her art psychotherapy masters dissertation. Eagle eyed PenPal pals will recognise our next talented actor from our Fringe show last year, welcome back to #leithdepot , Sheila Duncan! Sheila will be part of #SpringFever on Monday 8th @leithdepot138, 8pm start. https://tinyurl.com/yeypthaf Sheila trained in French Classical Theatre and has worked as a professional actor in France, UK, USA and Australia for over forty years. She recently played Dianne in For Better for Worse by Jill Franklin with Penpal Productions at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe. She has also worked with Framework Theatre and Stage2Page, Edinburgh. She is a graduate of the MSc in Playwrighting from Edinburgh University and holds a PhD in Drama from Flinders University specialising in Sacred Theatre. Sheila has four published and eight produced stage plays. She is a company member with Theatre Of the Oppressed company Active Inquiry, where she performs, directs and facilitates theatre projects with a wide range of community groups and organisations.
