Shapes and details. It seemed appropriate to highlight in a black and white patina of sorts the shapes and details of Porsche 356 series from the 50’s and 60’s. Hand made and formed. Evolving from these details to the technological marvels Porsche is today. Much like watches these, at the time, were “hand wound” so to speak. The first shot highlights a rare notch back 356 while the second shows the detail of the special Carrera 2 engine bay. The third focuses on the bright gauges and trim and, of course, a clock in a body color dash. The fourth showcases and helps define the fine curves of the prototypical 356 body. #NWA x2!📣 Not blue but new 😉.. New watch monday if you will! Another stunning diver from @sheffield_allsport_watches but this time the GT variant 🏁. You're getting exactly the same specs found on their "Diver 1" models in terms of construction and movement (certified toughness and reliabillity) but with a little color twist on the dial/strap combo and a very important upgrade too. ● GT grey dial: An absolutely gorgeous grey sunburst dial! Very reactive to different lights but still pretty legible. On top of that you get a 2 stripe "racing" design with a glossy finish to them on the right side of the dial. This is something new and totally out of my comfort zone but maybe that's something I needed 😍 The contrast between that sunburst effect and the stripes gets me hyped and I will post further about that 👏 ● Bezel: The same design and colors you find on Diver 1s but you can tell this one doesn't wiggle as much and works way better so that's amazing! 💯 ● Strap: Same quick release rubber strap but now in grey 🩶 I'm so excited and grateful! The Diver 1A Black has been moving at a fast pace since the preorder drop yesterday. It has a wonderful visual balance that makes it feel the same but just enough different from the steel and black 1A to have its own vibe. Of course, I have a soft spot for the steel/black 1A as it is the reincarnation of my first Sheffield. The GT Series has been pretty cool. The very first GT had this same silver blue dial and stripes but a steel case and gray band. I thought an all black was worth a try with the same dial. I love it! This is not a limited edition, but a very very limited release. I’ll be adding this back later in the Summer into Fall.
