This evening at the student center, a surprise chance encounter between Photo Alumni @eli_x_casting and Photo Professor @antoniojacobmartinez had taken place. Eli lives and works in Berlin, Germany discovering and casting super modeling talent for a living. His advice to our students is to enroll in our Darkroom photo and Small Town Documentary courses, and to be flexible with where photography leads you. Today, Prof. Martinez’s Commercial Event photography students and Photogenesis spent 6 hours on a head and portrait photoshoot for @siu_college_of_business students. Students learned the importance of equipment checklists, gaffe tape, pocket wizards, scheduled shifts, posing subjects and most importantly, working as a team.
