*Bye koh Lipe, thailand and hello Langkawi, Malaysia.* 23/3 we woke up and had som breakfast before checking out from the hotel, the hotel offered us a ride to the Immigration office at Pattaya Beach so at 09.15 AM we were at the Immigration office and waited until 09.30 AM for it to open, during the waiting we filled in an arrival form that's mandatory to fill in before entering Malaysia. At the immigration office you hand over your passport and also give your fingerprints and have your pictures taken. The passport will be handed back to you on the Ferry. The Ferry to Langkawi took around 1 hour and it was a smooth ride. We paid 1300 THB p/p one way and booked it through a travel agent on the street in koh Lipe. We arrived at the telega port in Langkawi, went through another passport check and also a security check where they randomly picked out passengers and checked their luggage and finally we were in Langkawi Malaysia. Outside the port they have a petronas (gas station) where we took out money from the ATM, in Malaysia the currency is ringgit (MYR.) Leaving koh Lanta for koh Lipe♥️ It was time to pack our backpacks again.. 20/3 we left our hotel room at 09.30am and were transported to the Ferry by car. When we arrived at Lanta marina pier we checked in and went for some coffee. At 10.00am we boarded the speedboat for a 3 Hour trip to Koh Lipe. At Koh Lipe we got off and went to pay a nationalpark fee, it's 200 THB p/p after that we went and collected our luggage from the beach and Walked to our hotel. LANTA BEE GARDEN 👎 PEACEFUL RESORT 👍 KOH LANTA So we arrived at Koh Lanta and had this Taxi that was supposed to take us to the hotel, but he didn't really know where it was so he dropped us off at the wrong hotel, after walking 10 min in 35 degrees (Celsius) he came and picked us up again and drove us to the right one. LANTA BEE GARDEN (1/5) This Hotel was a mistake.. the bungalow we reserved was really in need of renovation, no towels for the hands, the refrigerator was filled with water and most important of all, the AC didn't work.. according to us.. according to the Owner he thought it was cold when it was 32 degrees inside the room after the Aircon been on for 20 min...so we had to leave.. ( video 1 of the room..) we payed 1700 SEK for 4 nights (hotels.com) PEACEFUL RESORT (5/5) This place is magical, the staff is amazing, it's has a pool and 300 meter's to the beach ⛱️ Our room, was Bright, big and had a balcony. Most important of all, the AC worked really well! The price for one night was actually cheaper than the first one.. we paid 1300 THB/ night (380 SEK/natt). We all appreciate a quick and heartwarming meal every now and then, don't we? 🍽️ And what could be better than indulging in some Swedish meatballs, creamy mashed potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and a delectable brown sauce? 🇸🇪 Ingredients: 1 packet of Felix Meatballs* Mashed Potatoes: 1 kg potatoes 250 ml milk 50 g butter* Cream Sauce: 2 tablespoons of butter* 1 tablespoon of flour* 300 ml cream* 1 meat stock cube (for extra flavor, use liquid veal stock*) 0.5 tablespoon of Chinese soy sauce* *You can find these products in our store. Instructions: 1. Peel, cut, and boil the potatoes until they're soft. While the potatoes are boiling, start frying the meatballs. 2. Once the potatoes are soft, mash them. Heat up the milk and add it along with the butter to the mashed potatoes. Season with salt and white pepper to taste. 3. Once the meatballs have a golden colour and are heated through, transfer them to a bowl with a lid. 4. In the same pan used for frying the meatballs, brown the butter. Whisk in the flour. 5. Gradually whisk in the cream, then add the stock cube and soy sauce. Allow the mixture to come to a boil. 6. Serve immediately with a dollop of lingonberry jam on the side.
