Good afternoon, #Effectioneers! ✌🏾 First off, thank you for standing by & sticking with us after all these years of music & ministry. I've been on & off-the-grid for quite some time dealing with a lot of family stuff, especially with my mom (Pastor Star Hobdy) & I more recently (and still healing from) seasonal illnesses, the keyword being "seasonal". Stay with me for a moment... 😉 When going through a tough SEASON, it's so easy for us to get "caught up in the moment" and if we're not careful, we can STAY there *stuck* in our feelings and emotions. After all, we *are* human, right? But, what's our mindset, our attitude IN those moment(s) -- are they NEGATIVE or are they POSITIVE? May I encourage you today (and may you encourage *me* someday) that our mindset is where the battle is won. 🧠 In many cases, we can't change our situation, right? However, God can...if we let it go of it & let Him do what ONLY He can do. I could go on and on about this, but I'd be making this post longer than it already is. 😅 I just wanted to get some things off my chest, so if you read this all the way through and *any* of it resonated with you, please feel free to drop me a comment below. So, how was YOUR Mother's Day Weekend? 🌷 Before we hear from you (and we REALLY do), we'll tell you about ours. It all started Saturday morning with work, and then on to rehearsal for Sunday's Mother's Day Service. Once back home, we played for our neighbor's daughter's birthday party, where we met two (2) lovely ladies -- Abigail & Jacqueline, both of who were kind enough to take a few group pics with us! Jacqueline and her husband, Sam, even showed off their newly-purchased T4E wristbands. What it IZZZ!!! ✌🏾 We are now just TWO (2) HOURS away from our first tour rehearsal of WFL Jam 2021! 😀 Even if no one shows up (it happens), I am still SO very blessed and excited to do this tour again with my business partner, manager, and (most importantly) mom, Pastor Star Hobdy. We were having a mini-rehearsal of our own, and these songs just came ALIVE in us again.
